Are there actually still men out there who feel their masculinity is threatened by a woman who may earn more in her career or is ambitious? I personally find an ambitious, career driven and extremely independent woman extremely sexy lol |

Completely get what you’re saying  but me personally, I’ve had relationships with strong women and some of whom have want substantially more than me. But that’s never made me feel like less of a man in the slightest. |

Recently watched the whole manosphere stuff and it blew my mind  watched the bbc one where a lad was, by some miracle getting others to pay a subscribtion fee for advice, when he had clearly never had any kind of interaction with a female  |

I don't see why it would but i Guess it depends on influences and upbringing to an extent.
My partner was never threatened during the times I earned more than him any more than I was when the situation was reversed. |

There’s lots of blokes out there who still feel like that.
And, already said, they feel their masculinity is threatened by other blokes looking at their profile on here.

Oh yes their are and many are alot younger than me, not just some old fart set in his ways. I find it very pathetic. Masculinity is a physical trait of being a man. It's got nothing to do with intelligence or general life skills that allow someone to earn more |

I think that trying to define masculinity at all is the problem. Do you think calling them less than is going to help them understand or query their own views, or any kind of positive response?
The division of feminine and masculine traits causes a lot more issues than it ever solved 💜 |

I would suggest if you believe that, from this statement you don’t really know what masculinity is. Masculinity has nothing to do with anyone else. |

💯 just seems to be a hot topic recent years so I was intrigued to find out people’s views on it. I’ve always had a thing for women who I suppose would be labelled ‘tomboys’ so just trying to gain a better understanding lol |

Yes OP, there are men that absolutely will feel threatened by a woman that makes more money than them...just like there are women that absolutely will see a man as "less masculine" or "not a real man" if he earns less than them...you see OP, the Patriarchy is maintained in this society by not just men, but also women. Curious to know if you think a woman that rejects a man solely because he earns less than her, is because she feels like her femininity is threatened 🤔 |

Good question I personally believe that a woman who rejects a man based on what they earn is just as bad. Provided it’s not down to the fact that the man is a bum and has no ambition to work and earn etc. If I’m with someone, their success is my success and vice versa but maybe that’s just me |
