Deciding on what tent to buy this weekend. Started buying things off the list and checking what I already have.
Extra power bank all sorted. Got enough juice for 10 days in theory.
Started the beer shopping. Cleaned out local Sainsbury's of tiny rebel beers, will they last until download is the big question. |

Getting excited now 🥳
Got a new "2 minute" tent so need to have a go at putting it up and down in the garden and check everything is in working order, check the airbed is still fine, and start packing bits and pieces. Clothes for every eventuality because the weather is looking changeable. Got a powerbank sorted. Need to stock up on toiletries, snacks, wine and plasters. |

It's a type of pop up tent, but it packs away much smaller! It's a decathlon one and it looks nice and simple. Plus it's black out which is what I need 😂 |

Hope it's not a pop as they water resistant not waterproof, there is a difference, mostly waking up in a puddle or not, that the wrong kind of wet |

Hand sanitizer & baby wipes are you friend. Have tissues in pockets, Barraca or vitamin C are your friend in the mornings, ear plugs and or eye mask in evenings. Pack for all weather no matter what forecast says.

Ear plugs are a must! Unless your kink is being woken up at 5am and then every 15 mins with a plane taking off over you!

Don't camp near the toilets or walkways. Seems beneficial but slamming doors, smells and being trampled are a major risk. Also if in RIP camping near the coop sounds great till the hype guy goes off till 3am and starts again at 7am... |

Oh and I the arena, if you think you'd like to get in a pit or even crowdsurf, do it. The regret is worse then the injury. Be i the moment and have fun. If you fall, someone will pick you up. Hell the whole skindred pit stopped a few years back to find and return my shoe. Watch me put it on and cheer before going again  |

I’ve never stayed in the campsites, only Campervan plus, but I’ve been told to never put your tent near to a fence as everyone goes there to piss… |

As one previously guilty of such poor etiquette I can confirm this is also true. This amongst many other reasons is why I migrated to RIP... was a one time thing as a treat, cannot go back

I’m not sure about the campsites as we alway go Campervan plus. But there are always dogs searching the vehicles when we have gone.
