Have had a simply majestic song from my childhood in my head all day.

I know the artist and the title but I'm curious as to whether anyone remembers it via this sample lyric ?

No googling cheats please as you're only cheating yourselves.

Opening lyric " While you were off in France "

"Anymore clues please ? "

It was the bands first single and it was released in 1978 on the Virgin label.

"Simply majestic" - Does that mean Queen?

""Simply majestic" - Does that mean Queen?"

Erm it does not. They released singles long before 1978 and were never on Virgin.

Well pardon me for breathing. I did post my question before you mentioned a year or a record label. If your going to ask tough questions.....expect some stupid questions in return!

Fair enough.

I often get my replies out of sync as by the time you type a response new threads have emerged in the interim.

Well they certainly both share a common sound but not sure it's similar enough to be considered suspicious.

Both tracks share the fact that they are bonafide classics
