i enjoyed it and liked the inuendoes especially when you know that the only o grade rodney got was in art lol - obviously from his father!!!
but i would rather have had a shag lol |

well we did enjoy watching that .hope they make a series out of it .its about time bbc1 put on something worth watching maybe they could get rid of eastenders and stick this on instead  |

It was definitely amiable enough, but I believe it could have stood alone, as a totally new creation and would have been all the better for it.
I felt that there was too much name-checking. I think that almost everyone that has ever been mentioned in OFAH put in an appearance at one point or another. Also, the age gap between Delboy and Rodney doesn't really fit in with the later series - IMHO it is too large.
Further to this, if a series spins off from it, there is only so much scope for development without getting tied up in the established history that we already know.
Sorry to be picky, but I just wish Sullivan would move away from these characters and create. |

I saw this prequel and enjoyed it, I liked how they picked up on all the characters and wove the threads to OFAH. But I fully expect BBC to now make a series of it and take us through the years to OFAH beginning, not sure how that will pan out.
Oh and it's on again Saturday 30th at 1.30 for those who want to see it xxx |
