... and decorate it as a play room, with mirrorred walls, glitter ball, a pole, a swing, soft lighting, etc. etc...?

I am planning ahead, in case I relocate and find myself alone in a 3 bedroom house!

Mind I'll be on my second plastic hip whenever that happens

My oldest daughter has the biggest bedroom and she is 12 this year that means I can kick her out in about 20 years

Then I will turn her room into my playroom and finally get the swing I have been threatening to get for years but spoilsport hubby says it has to be in the joist and the ones in the big bedroom are easier to use?!?!? yeah like I care I just want the swing

Just get somewhere with a basement or a converted attic... lock on the door... sorted.

can say it's an office or something lol (jus make sure you show them the room before you decorate it so they dont want to see it! )

As you can see I haven't thought about it at all lol

She could get a small lodger in and he could wear a parrot suit. That or a stuffed parrot and claim it was alive when she arrived!

It is very tempted, especially nowadays, a lot of the new builds are on 3 floors, with the big bedrooms right at the top.

I am thinking about sleeping in the small room next to the living room, leave the second bedroom upstairs as my junk room where I shall hang out my washing etc., and make the master bedroom with the en-suite into a playroom.

With the exception of the swing... it sounds like my bedroom

We converted the attic bedroom into one.

St Andrews cross,flogging/shagging bench, new kingsize bed, music, mirrors, various floggers, toys etc. Will be maybe sorting out a swing next.

We don't have the 'curse of the kids' but if we were unfortunate enough to have,we'd just put a mortice lock on the door, sorted!
