"I am reading P G Wodehouse - Jeeves and Wooster...a spiffingly fabulous read..what!!! "
Wodehouse is a genius. His use of language, such as describing Spode as not just a common, garden sized gorilla, but more a bulk economy buy sized gorilla is sublime.
Fatherland is Robert Harris.
I've now moved on to Winds of Dune, one of the sequels to Dune, written by the son of the original author |

"I've just finished "Tropic of Cancer" by Henry Miller.
Wonderful, complex, disturbing. I felt like I had to shower after finishing it."
Good grief! That was the first English language book I ever bought. |

It must have been one helluva introduction to the language
I'm on a real existential kick at the moment. I've just re-read "L'etranger" for the firs time since my teens. I had forgotten how brutal it is. |

"What's everyone reading? I've just finished The world of Jeeves "
I've never read a book from Start to finish in my life.
Well, one. I've read one autobiography from start to finish but that's it!

Rather more 'than a little' - I had to abandon One Of Our Thursdays Is Missing it was too complicated
I MIGHT give it another go tho |
