I'll start. It is not an obvious choice but here goes:

Once Upon a Time in the West

Music, first and foremost for me. The addition of and absence in some places. Powerful, awe-inspiring stuff.

Yeah, great film, one of Henry Fonda's greatest performances. He rarely played the baddie, but that was his finest hour

In that, he's truly awful. Those china blue eyes glistening on the screen, menacing, hateful.

Yet always known as the good guy. Proper acting.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Horror Express - a Spaghetti Horror and amazingly bad, but so bad it becomes good. Christopher Lee! Peter Cushing! Telly Savalas playing one honest Cossack! Bizarre plot!

It has the lot.

A Few Dollars More for the haunting pocket watch tune which I am whistling right now with shivers just from reading the title of this thread.

It's the same composer who wrote my favourite above, Enio Moriconne.

Also wrote the Missionary.

Once upon a time is my all time favourite too - Claudia is a fine woman!

But I do love the final duel between col Mortimer and Indio - where Eastwood's character nicks Mortimers watch. Excellent music again!

Cannock

The good, the bad and the ugly is my fave.

Eli Wallach as Tuco, just a brilliant performance. So many good lines in that film, and the scene at the end in the graveyard is ace, Tuco shouting "Blondie" as he is hanging and balancing on the cross/gravestone, while Clint rides off into the distance.

Also great music in this film too.

Yup, Moriconne again.

The tension in these movies seeps onto the carpet in the front room when yer watching it. If it reaches you properly, you can at times feel sick with it. Brilliant stuff.

Sergio Leone is a fantastic Director and his castings brought pleasure to many. Often missed well Duck You Sucker is a less known but enjoyable gem.
