Is it just me who has never done the public nudity thing? (Either at a beach, club or wherever)
Who has and where? Who hasn't?
I considered trying the hot tub at Jaydees last night but getting naked is still a step too far for me. |

I don't do nudity either, I don't like being naked.
I can go in hot tubs but I hide behind my OH who goes in first. I would never walk around a club naked and I'm never completely naked when swinging, I have to have my armour of lingerie on  |

Sunbathed naked on holiday this year and would do it again,It felt great,I have done the jacuzzi thing at a club but very rarely
I wouldn't strut around naked in a club though,ive learnt to be comfortable with my body and feel fine with nakedness  |

It isn't just you lots of people have it. I have no problem getting naked in certain appropriate situations in fact A was surprised when we first started all this malarkey at the speed I would divest myself of my garments but I know lots of people who find it difficult or impossible for loads of reasons. |

well let me tell you as a completely unbiased observer that you should be VERY comfortable with your body, from what I can see it's great! In an ideal world everyone would be comfortable with their bodies but sadly peer pressure, the media and people using emotive and insulting language to describe natural variations in body type make that almost impossible  |

Often naked at home. Did the naked bike ride in London a couple of weeks ago, disappointed that I can't do streaking for tigers at London zoo in August.

Sometimes people can't understand that even those perceived to be the 'body beautiful' can have sg image problems too.
Don't forget to work on the most important part...your brain! You could be as beefed up as arne in his prime but until you learn to accept yourself for who you are it will never be enough. |

I have always assumed that I would be self-concious, but when push comes to shove, I'm not.
I have been nude on nude beaches (I won't call it 'sunbathing' because I burn pretty quickly)
and I get changed and showered with at least 14 other blokes every saturday in winter - I have noticed that our female physio spends quite a lot of time in the changing rooms..... |

I would never in a million years scare the natives by wandering around a club naked but I have no problems getting my kit off and going in the hot tub etc now, but I wouldnt have done that when I was a young 'un |

First time I got naked at a club I was so nervous but now I'm.not too bothered about walking around naked st places like eureka etc and I've been on nudist beach couple of tines and loved it . I'm a big woman so do feel little odd around slim ladies but no one takes any notice |

Zed doesn't need much of an excuse to get his kit off and loves being naked. I, on the other hand, just don't do naked. At Kestrels I wear a sarong/ robe and get in and out of the pool as quickly as possible to minimise any time in the buff.
It's not just my size but all the wrinkles, sags, stretch-marks and unsightly veins I want to cover up (really selling myself here aren't I? lol)

Ooh , we do the naked bike rides each year, London, Brighton and York this year protesting for body acceptance and cyclist awareness .
Have been on tv a few times and rarely wear clothes at home , in fact hate them .
Nudity is a great leveller , it doesn't matter how rich or powerful you are , if you are nude you are nude .

It's an age thing for me, the older I've got the more I don't worry about what people think of me which in turn makes me more comfortable about my body.
I wouldn't necessarily strut around a club but I'm quite happy to get my kit off and jump in a hot tub, pool or if I'm at kestrels naked sunbathing on the loungers in the garden... |

I have got naked at clubs to use jacuzzis etc but tend to do the quick run in and out to get some clothes on as quickly as possible, I'm very self conscious about my body, although strangely I would feel even more self conscious in a bikini on a 'normal' beach than I have done at clubs is that weird? Or is it that I perceive the swinging community to be less judgemental of people's body shape? |

I think naked we don't all end up the same. Instead we swap the currency of clothing labels for body shape labels. Depending on the current aesthetics different shapes will carry more cache.

My problem with nudity is not because I'm uncomfortable with my body or size etc, I'm quite happy with myself. I don't feel right being naked, it feels unnatural to me. I never sleep naked and after a bath I'm usually eager to dry off and put clothes on.
Its the way I've been brought up and the influence of my parents that has stuck with me. My parents didnt encourage nudity and always ensured I was covered appropriately |

I remember flashing my appendix scar to anyone and everyone. We weren't encouraged to be anything but covered up but I stopped wearing night clothes quite early and used to put the same clean nightie in the wash every week so that my mum could see it hanging on the line.
I can't do barefoot though. |

part of the reason i love naked is i feel claustrophibic in clothes - in being cocooned in bed (would never be tucked up when i was little)- all sorts of things - i never wear a bra - hardly ever wear a coat - too many layers - hate socks - would go barefoot or flip flops the whole while if i could - vest tops and a loose thin cardi is my winter work wear lol - i also think if nudity was accepted more there would be a lot less body conscious issues |

I've no problem getting naked with sexual partners. They can see what they're getting shape-wise and if they're still there then they must be ok with it. I can't change then and there, or even in a few days or a couple of weeks, so they can take it or leave it.
I'm fairly pragmatic in that sense. Naked is necessary for a desired end result sometimes so just do it.
I may be ok on a naturist beach, but not having tried, I'm not sure. I burn really easily though so I'd be nervous of that.
I wasn't comfortable with the idea of stripping off for the hot tub, and I wouldn't want to wear underwear as I think I'd look daft, so I didn't use it.
I don't know if I could strip off at a naturist club either. I might try one day soon to see.
I have swum topless before, and been naked with a partner in a private hot tub in a holiday cottage. I enjoyed both. |

Always naked at home when home alone (daughter at work) and often in the garden when warm enough. Also when playing with Fab friends I'm usually the first to disrobe.
At Club party I keep my shorts on while wandering around but apparamtly I'm not wearing them at next months party.
I've accepted my body shape a long time ago and feel comfier with nothing on.

If you have no body confidence then of course you are going to be uncomfortable naked...I can play dot to dot with my stretch marks and I've had no kids...I learnt a while ago that I need to let go of the issues I have with my body...I'm overweight but actually like my body now...so I am comfortable getting naked in the presence of others. |

i've been a young nudist for about a year now. It's been awesome. i've been to social events and parties for it. i was nervous at first. 1 because i was the youngest there and 2. cause i'm a damn sight larger then some people. but i've gotten over it. I'm now confident with my larger self. it's a 50/50 split between the social side and the sexual side. if it's a house party of course there's going to be a place for people to get to know each other, it's expected. but it's never pushed. I've dabbled of course. but sometimes i just like to talk. (this is a men only party i'm talking about)
i do recommend people try it. doesn't matter what you look like, just chill out and have a good time! no body is looking to compare themselves to you. it just doesn't happen. and if you go soley to compare yourselves to them then shame on you. |
