Well done England for getting through to the next round, you played better than last week ( although it couldn't have got any worse) but today you did what was needed. 
PS stay off the thread if you don't like the subject rather than causing rows left right and centre. |

It was so lovely to see this afternoon how people gathered in the streets enjoying the sunshine and the celebrations - we had TVs brought in at work for the workers - what an atmosphere! Simply great Long may it continue and well done, Britain. |

being both english and a yank I am doubley happy this evening...
also the yanks have a short attention span.. it was top headline for 90 minutes... now 2nd billing to an earthquake in canada that was felt in NYC....

I would personally like either to win and would love a final between the two - my family would havwe a party as half support one side, half support the other. Would be a very good-natured event with heaps of food and drink from both sides lol |

I know nothing about football, but I do know a happy nation when I see one and today even before the match people were walking around in their shirts like real happy bunnies.....and that for me was a great tonic.
I locked up tonight just as the match was ending and the roar from the pub near my shop was worth a million dollars to me.
So yes.....well done to the England players |

well done to england they played much better today and could and should have won by a far greater margin.far more passion to the play and realy looked up for it just the small matter of the germans to beat in the quarters now. |
