A very simple water jug, bought from ikea reduced me to tears tonight when I chipped it.... nothing spectacular about it, but....
I bought it with my lovely when we were setting up home together.
We were full of hope and dreams for the future, we had our family and were complete.
Circumstances took my lovely from me and that stupid chip on the jug seemed to bring all my grief flooding back and the tears wouldn't stop.
Strange how the simplest of things evoke such memories and intense feelings.

Can you not think of your chipped beloved jug as a symbol of your own lovely man, no one is perfect, i am sure he had a slight "chip" somewhere? |
