At the end of the day…….

I didn’t support the England squad because they were a sure thing to be winners… my eyes were wide open and I was prepared to take the rough with the smooth.

I didn’t support the England squad because I was jumping on some bandwagon once they had become winners… like you see in so many other sports “ooowww lets get behind X,Y or Z because they have made it now and we can be seen as backing the best”

I didn’t support the England squad because of any of the individuals who played…. there could have been a list of names I’d never heard before.

I supported the England squad because they are the England squad and England is my home.

Couldn't agree more, I flew the St Georges flag because I am English and proud to have supported my countries team....even though I know feck all about football!
