Casting nipples to make pewter Cufflinks

This is a project I'm retrying from a year ago, last time I used liquid latex to make the original mould, this time I'm using alginate moulding powder. Much easier to make, it has reduced the original moulding time from one hour to less than 3 minutes.

Has anyone else made any casts of any naughty parts. I've got a clone a willy kit but I've struggled to get a good mould, i keep getting a massive air bubble at the hilt.

try vibrating the mold to get rid of any air in the mold

Wouldn't the cufflinks be too far apart to be of much use in fastening shirt cuffs?

Even then, would they fall out in warmer weather.
