Disturbed not only did the song justice, but turned it into something totally different. |

Ghostlines cover of Iron Maidens Brave New World gets me every time. How they've really slowed and stripped it down and given it an almost haunting edge to it is brilliant! |

Amazing totally turns it on its head, anyone else like it ? Comments on other really good covers
As a big Simon and Garfunkel fan, I thought I would slip this in the YouTube search as I had never heard of Disturbed. Tbh as soon as I saw the guy I knew they were more a heavy metal band and I thought I would be clicking off within a few seconds but I have to say, that version was amazing. It made one or 2 hairs stand up on the back of my neck. It was like he wrote the lyrics himself and the slight musical change to it was also a great twist.
Thanks for the recommendation.....will now be singing this to myself all day! |

Are the ones off the top of my head but theres been a lot of good covers songs done and a hell of a lot more bads ones |

They have covered quite a few songs. Land of confusion i didnt know was a cover tbh 
Shout by tears for fears they have done too. I know theres more but not awake now. They are a metal band but not the heavy screaming type....unless you listen to the sickness  |
