From Lidl. Fish soup in a bottle. Have a portion for lunch then empty your entire contents of your gut down the toilet over the next 12 hours. Repeat until the desired weight is achieved. |

"Nothing works you still put tge weight back only for weight loss is to do it the hard way go the gym "
Weight loss is 80% diet.
Excercise burns relatively few calories. Diet must be used to create a calorie deficit for any meaningful weight loss.
Exercise alone is highly unlikely to work. |

Considering Diamond's has just told you she's lost 12 stone and is keeping it off, why would you feel the need to say she's fine as she is?
I'm not certain your opinion is that important to her anyway. |

In your world it is! I lost eight stones, Diamond considerably more, with not one second of organised exercise.
Plenty more examples of fabbers who have achieved the same. |

Going to the gym isn't the only option or way to lose way it's all about eating healthy and exercise gym work is a way but I'm fairly fit and in good shape well many might disagree but never being in a gym in me life cycling swimming and running along with the right foods and right portions does the trick |

Not just a fact. A true one
Is it possible different methods work for different individuals...
I say probably |

The gym works AND other methods also work. It's only a question of willpower to continue what works for you.
There also the lucky fuckers who eat anything and everything and do fuck all and yet maintain healthy weights through no hard work of theirs. The lucky ones.
There are others too who struggle with weight because of laziness, low willpower or medical reasons.
Ignorance is also in a class of its own. |

Taking the commonly used guide that losing 1lb of fat requires a calorie deficit of 3500 calories, calculate how much gym work is required each week to lose just 1lb, and then the preferable targets of 1.5_2lbs.
Then, assuming the person isn't overeating at all, but just consuming their required maintenance calories, tell me how likely it is anyone could lose a significant amount of weight in a reasonable time by exercise alone, without using diet to create a calorie deficit. |

Exercise alone is not an effective form of weight loss.
Weight maintenance, yes, but it takes too much exercise to create a sufficient calorie deficit for effective weight loss. |

Interesting! I wish to lose 13lbs with as little effort on my part as possible (naturally!)
How many cartons of fish soup do you think I'll need? X |

Id say at least 5 bowls a week should suffice. |

Agreed! Now relax lovely! Come round here for a brew (I have chocolate Swiss roll - mildly disappointing!), I'm laid up with a swollen knee (pole dancing accident at Cupids - one day I will remember I'm middle aged!)
Oh - and stop at Lidl on the way! I have three toilets - we'll be fine! (Better grab air freshener along with the soup though! ) |

I would agree, but it can make a substantial difference to insulin resistance which may have a significant bearing. A lot of people/animals became insulin resistance when injury prevented exercise. |

True, it's a help for a number of reasons. Increased muscle = more calories burned even at rest and increased metabolism for a while after exercise etc. There are loads of benefits.
It's not enough for serious weight loss by itself though. |

Developing IBS as a side effect of a bout of gastroentiritis and not being able to eat so many things that it's easy to stick to a daily calorie limit also works in my experience. |

That's the point - gimmick diets are specifically designed to fail - that way you blame the particular diet technique not yourself - so you're an easy mark for the next diet gimmick that comes along |

I saw the fish soup last week in Lidl and I slipped one into the trolley while D wasn't looking but she spotted it before checkout.
You get some nice produce in the german supermarkets but some bizarre stuff as well, reminiscent of roadkill.

I never forget my best mate opening my soup cos her tin opener was shit and had a knack to it that only she could do. The soup was the blue dragon Chinese range, chicken and sweet corn, she peeled back the lid, the smell hit her then she saw it in all it's gloopy glory and bleurgh! She started heaving and was sick in her sink! I still ate my soup though! |
