The number of views doesn't necessarily correlate with the number of messages though

I'm part of a couple but I'll answer anyway.

We got quite a few messages today, but only because of a new pic and a meet request. Generally speaking our look to message ratio is very poor. It's part of why I couldn't care less about knowing the number of people looking at us.

As for people we messaged, we don't message people who have simply looked at us and left. We assume they aren't interested. This is on the rare occasions that we even bother to look at who viewed us.
