Today at work I was moving a load of tyres and getting wet as loads had water in them..realising that all of them had a slash on the side I could empty water without getting soaked
As I was doing this I thought of other 'hacks' that I do that are simple but useful:
Photo of takeaway menu's. .never have to search for one.
Roll fitted sheets to put away
Put all bedding in pillowcase for each set
Has anyone else got any to share? |

"Take photos of the kids art that they bring home (if young) and get printed off and put the pics in a special photo album."
Oh thats a brilliant idea, I wish I'd thought of that sooner, especially for child numero uno.
I'm going to do this, thanks for posting |

"Save money on children's clothes by not having children.
I know that looks a bit "Viz top tip", but it's improved my quality of life no end."
Lol. Can't afford a gravel drive way? Put down corn flakes to replicate the sound. |

Visit friends and relatives when it's cold and save on the heating bills. Time it right and you could get a meal too, not just a coffee or glass or wine. Talk about all kinds of topics, including forthcoming tv programmes on the next week, as you flick through their tv magazine, asking permission to take a few photos, unless you can take a few sneaky pics whilst nipping to the loo.
Disclaimer: I have never done any of the above, not deliberately, anyway. |

When going on holiday wear as many clothes as you can going to the airport and then only take hand luggage thus making a saving on excess baggage charges. |

"Wash white clothes with whites only, black with black etc.
and if it's a black and white striped duvet cover?"
Wash whites with coloureds by using a sheet of Colorfast or similar own brand available by the washing powders and fabric conditioners in the supermarket. They really are effective and saves splitting wash loads, |
