Agree 100%. That's why I split with a GF. Found she had been messaging two people on FB. Including links to porn clips of what she wanted to do one of them.  Said it was harmless fun but it split us up and left me heart broken.

I'd say they're both in the same category. But like I was grown up being told, I'd rather have a thief in my life than a liar, at least you know what to expect and where you stand. |

I caught my wife sending sexually explicit texts to other men periodically over the last three years of our relationship, I classed this as a fork of cheating.
When I confronted her about the fourth guy she admitted to sleeping with the third.

Cheating is wrong on all levels all it does it hurt innocent people if you ain't happy you should do the right thing and walk away instead of stringing them along makes me sick had it done to me and they never change once a cheat always a cheat |

I only consider it cheating if she lies about it, other than that, everything on the menu is fair game, as long as its safe, and she's honest about it.
The lady I was last in a short relationship with didn't Get this, and lied about having sex with someone else, I ended things on the spot.
I have no capacity for jealousy, its not in me, but I hate being g lied to, when someone lies about something that they don't need to lie about, the trust is gone |

If its hidden from each other and your secretly doing stuff like messaging,meeting up etc, to me it means you want something to happen eventually now or in the future so yes its cheating still.
