I'm not getting why the 2 footballers are on the list? Is it to try and get their fans to tear themselves away from Skysports for an hour?

Andy Murray has won it before, the words "personality" and "Andy Murray" sound as strange as saying "a owl"

It does seem odd as football is a team sport. However Jamie Vardy did manage to get the record for scoring in consecutive Premier League games, so I guess he's in it for that.

I might be a bit partisan about Leicester so I'm fine with it.

gareth bale won the champions league with real madrid, played really well in wales 2016 euro run,

jamie vardy was the top scorer in the leicester city title team and someone on that team had to be on the list....

i am surprise there isn't one england rugby union player on the list after winning the six nations grand slam and winning 3-0 in australia

surprised chris froome didn't make the list, surprised charlotte dujardin didn't make the list either... surprised carl frampton isn't on the list

was thinking about this.... my 1,2,3 would be 1 mo farah, 2 max whitlock, 3 adam peatty,

but i think a "kenny" or andy murray will win it....
