Been thinking about leaving the site. Since I said I was in the Army and of to Afghanistan on here, I don't seam to get anyone talking to me anymore. Even had some not so nice messages left on here.
can I be that bad?

I'm sure it's nowt to with you being in the army, there are some sad twats around these parts if it was.
It might be just bad breath or a fungal thing?

Good-luck too you if you do decide go!!... and good luck too you if you decide to stay!!......However, as already mentioned, only you can decide.....
As for these bad vibes you recieved.... Don't take em to heart.....it's simply not worth it...

oh had a lot of surport from people. might be because of the stree of out here and a big inspection thats coming up.
its always nice to get messages from people thats what i liked about being on here.

I was feeling down this morning and actually went to delete my profile.
Clicked off and then a message appeared from a guy, just made me realise how much I would miss certain people, most of whom I have never met, but have a good laugh with.
I've hidden my profile and hey it could be back up in the next min, hour day or whatever.

not sure what passing the CFT (combat fitness test, I'm guessing?) has to do with the OP's original question...? (although I have to say that I'm never a fan of people saying they're off to/ back from Afghanistan or elsewhere because it often can come across like they're using it to get a shag)
To the OP - it's your choice and makes not a jot of difference to the vast majority of us on the site what you do. From a practical pov it's probably easier just to hide your profile whilst away and then un-hide when you return. Your choice, though. |

1. Using the Army to get a shag
2. putting up a "save me" thread
If he wants to go and has had to ask the question, I think he is best going. This life is not all about getting it when you want it! More like you have to work to get it and it ain't easy!

Actually, he did say 19 weeks ago that it was his last day on here and he would be gone for 6 Months (26 weeks!) There was also mention that these sites were off limits and he wouldn't be able to post.
Here he is 19 weeks later and still trying to get the sympathy shag.. TBH, I am not even sure he is in the army at the moment!  Maybe he was, but his timescales are all fucked up!! |

i do agree putting up that i was going to Afghan and was after a shag is wrong but when I put the blog up I was already in Afghan so would be hard to meet.
Can I pass a CFT? yep sure can. but find it hard to pass the PBFA fitness test. |

I use to be a soldier ya know... yeah seriously....
I was part of a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime I didn't commit. I promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government, I survive as a soldier of fortune. So If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find me, maybe you can hire....... |

lol well i have found it easier to just roll with life , some people like a man in uniform some dont , just as some men will like a large woman or a thinner woman , and some like older or younger , its just what makes the world go round , dont get a sad on about it , just smile and move on with life you only get one
and if you are out in afghan right now , after todays events you should appreciate that more than anyone , as youll know exactly what i am talking about |

in his defence we get 2 weeks R and R, during the tour , i took mine after 3 and a half months, so is technicaly possible lol , but he hasnt lost much weight ha , most of my lads and me included all lost tonns ha |

I have a nephew currently out in Helmand, along with three family friends (we live in a big Royal Marine catchment area), none of them can get much Internet airtime....yet we have guys on here who seem to be on here most days claiming to be serving in Afghanistan.....

you are quite correct . it all depends what FOB, PB or if you lucky back in bastion as too how good your net connection is , we are lucky we co located with yanks so we tap into there satelitte system , they gave us the key setting , others espeacialy lads in 42 and 45 not so lucky ,
deepest sympathy to 42 lad today if you know his family , done alot of work with juliet and lima coy this tour |
