I didn't know what to do to be honest, we would normally give kids sweets or a bit loose change but just thought WTF to be honest  |

I suppose they could have fallen on hard times since they bought them.
Did they sing carols as opposed to Christmas songs? Maybe they were spreading the Christian message.
I would have found it just as strange as you though. |

Did they at least give a good rendition? I'm sick to death of 'we wish you a merry Christmas'.
I don't care how old they are, I'm not paying for anything less than 'once in royal David's city' or 'hark the herald angels sing'.

Away in a Manger it was, they wernt bad and I sent them on their way with a hot cup of Ribena Winter Spice  |

they didn't have any ID or collecting tin, they were just a young well dressed couple belting out away in a manger, never spoke, just said thanks when I gave then their Ribena
