Please help me.
Im northern and dont know how it works.
I went to kent. I set up my PAYG account ages ago.
I went over the bridge. It clocked me. It paid automatically. Woo.
Now.
I came back. Through the tunnel yesterday.
It hasnt shown on my account and no payment been taken.
What do i do?! I dont want to get a fine. Does it just take its time sometimes? Or do i call and ask whats happening?
I fucking hate the south. |

Sorry, I can't help then. Keep a record of when you crossed in case there is a problem.

No charge 10pm-6am
If you have a dart charge account it debits £1.67 instead of the £2.50 if you pay via a mobile phone. On several occasions I've not been charged for a crossing and this is something other people have experienced too. |

Even if you get a penalty through which I have a few times I’ve never paid more than the initial charge.
Just call straight away.
As others have said don’t worry as I’ve found them pretty easy to deal with. |

Yeah free after 10pm and on the weekend it shows on the account Monday
You won't get fined as your a registered user ( Unless of course there's not enough funds in your account to cover a crossing )

Yeah free after 10pm and on the weekend it shows on the account Monday
You won't get fined as your a registered user ( Unless of course there's not enough funds in your account to cover a crossing )

I used to use the tunnel and bridge regularly and it used to come straight out of my account, once I think it didn’t show for a few hours, it will tell you on your account. X |

Went through, forgot to pay next day, but "the day after" went online, entered reg number, it said.. Balance to pay £2.50 or so.
Paid, and left it at that.
1 month later, letter comes, £38 fine, however seeing as first offence pay within 7 days and no fine
Thought, well I have paid,doubl checked banking and half looked at payment ref number..left it at that
1 month later, escalated bailiff letter now £250 fine
Phone dart charge explaining I paid what it asked me to pay... They explained what I paid was for a second crossing in advance and not the one in arrears.
It's crap.. I paid what ever it asked and appeal refused to paid £250 to bailiffs for nothing.

Paid, and left it at that.

Before I met Ads I used the crossings 5 times (one was after ten so 6 times) and I forgot to pay, it wasn’t long after they took the tolls away, I didn’t get the fine letters for about three months after as they were paying catch up, by this point they had stuck charges on, I tried to fight it but ended up with bailiff letters and ended up paying over £800 over 8 weeks!! Most expensive fucks I’ve ever had...they wasn’t even that good either!!

Well it still hasnt come out. I paid a one off thing before the cut off just to be safe and calles them today. Apparently takes a while sometimes if its been busy and you do the automatic thingy. But ive been assured its fine and i will be credited with 2.50 at somepoint.
