I just don’t get the point of an SUV unless you live in a farm or remote location.. my fellow fabster mentioned it used to be called a small cock syndrome but now more women are driving SUVs so let’s settle this ladies.. |

My mum drives one. It's a 7 seater. We use it mainly for camping and daytrips for the whole family. But it's her only car so it gets used for the school run and shopping trips too. So maybe all those women you see driving big vehicles are on the way to pick up some equipment or just come from helping someone move.... |

"I drive an MPV. I don't have small cock syndrome..... I have a tight pussy....unsure if any correlation. I have my car for practical reasons tho"
I can understand the need of a MPV or a seven seater for a big family.. but those 5 seater SUVs and 4x4 pick up trucks.. I just don’t get it. |

The husband bought it for her so he can go off-roading on a Sunday morning, before going down the pub to watch football, while she cooks the Sunday roast. |

We have a 7 seater car (4 kids) had a disco before the Zafira. All our kids walk to school.
We have an AWD Jag too, not because it's AWD but because its a nice car, however the AWD has been helpful in the snow. |

My boss has an Evoke... he does at least use it for transporting his bike etc. and I drove it to Marrakech so it was good for that but he lives in the city centre so I’m not sure (other than the status thing) what the point is. Most of our people at work have 4x4s and none of them need them. |

Could it be due to the state of the roads, with all the potholes you need a car that has 4 wheel drive to navigate them. |

It’s obligatory for everyone to own one in my village it seems. As is driving behind a car struggling in the snow and gesturing madly at them. Getting through the villages is a nightmare at school kicking out time they are abandoned everywhere.
I have one I love it. Simply because it gets me out my lane and I like the high up driving position. They are also lovely and comfy.

Well we've just ordered a new SUV purely from a practical point of view. Lots of room for stuff, high driving position, ultra quiet on the motorway etc.
For fun, I have my Sporty Car, which I sometimes like to drive topless (me and the car).
At one time when we had to take children / grandparents all over the place, we had a really big MPV. That was very good for dogging too, there was room for a full double mattress in the back.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer.. |
I cannot see what the issue is, if someone wants to drive a large car then its up to them, male or female. They are comfortable to drive and most have more gadgets and gizmo's than the space shuttle so usually are far safer than small cars. (I drive a small car before anyone accuses me of having a small cock!)
The ones that get me are the aggressive guys that drive them and think its their god given right to drive like a total twunt without an ounce of consideration for any other road user. |

You can't get 6 bikes & a gaggle of kids in a small family car.
I did try, but parents objected to me strapping their kids to the roof.
I'll just have to take ridicule then! |

I've removed the nearside seat inside the sliding door.
This gives me a loading area when shopping, or, a kneeling area alongside a versatile L shaped bed for doing what Japaneseyoung people buy MPVs for!
Such vehicles are wasted on transporting families about. I get a load off my insurance for declaring it as a five seater. |

It’s the oxymoron of the S for Sports utility.
They have a high C of G and lots of dead mass.
I’ve repaired enough of them and especially RRovers are utterly overrated junk. Ingenium timing chains need to start with the subframe off and gearbox out due to oil dilution.
And no, Zee German metal isn’t any better.
Not a fan of the genre.
And ill clue you into a secret- it’s not AWD / 4x4 you need for bad weather on the roads it getting all season or winter tyres- under braking you have no wheel drive but all cars have 4 wheel brakes.

What’s your view of the VW T-cross R Line 2025 (with the hybrid all your tyres)
In Dubai I drive Land Cruiser , short wheelbase, or FJ cruiser. These are proper 4WD needed for sand dunes, but we don’t need that in the UK, but I do need to be able do a lot of off-road in winter and premium cars like BMW even with the right tires are handing very badly |

Whilst tyre selection makes a significant difference in traction capabilities, staying off the brakes in snow/ice, slippery conditions is a much safer way to drive and this is where 4wd will always gain over 2wd, as you have engine braking to both axles so improving the traction under engine braking. |

Mrs is all about being seen with nice things. Like range rover, five star hotels, designer handbags and looking like a "baddie"
But I get why...it's because if she's not looking affluent she's treated differently and her immigration status is questioned by Karen's. They might assume she's ghetto or on benefits.
So she likes to rub their faces in it because she's successful.
Before I would just drive a shit car and wear anything because I am smart and good at my job anyway so why bother.
But the reality is that most people are cunts who judge you on appearance or wealth you display so to get what you deserve in life you need to look better and richer than everyone else.
If you don't you won't get promotions or respect. Particularly as a black woman or white man. |

So in brief that's why women drive around in massive range rovers, spend lots on appearance, jewelry and designer stuff....
If they don't people look down on them and don't take them seriously socially or professionally. |

People don't respect the honest working man in a shit car.
They go out of their way to keep you in you're place psychologically and professionally.
They only respect what they are jealous of.
They will convince you it's all about being nice and hard working. But one day you will teach you a lesson for it and it won't be fair.
Go to work all the time in you're uniform with a smile and be the best employee...they don't respect any of it. You won't get promoted.
They are shallow.
That's why we are learning to play golf or why we wear smart clothes.
Get nice pics on social media and all that nonsense.
The same people who kept you down as the employee will get jealous but it's better than being kept as their idiot.
Some people genuinely like nice cars
But other people just drive them for a better day
People let me through junctions and are nicer to me in a nice car.
It's not about their approval. It's about having less social problems and jumping ahead of a qué reserved for people they don't respect.

Totally agree if you’re someone with a battered old Land Cruiser up to its axles on a cross country- but I love driving our 30yo runabout on 155 section full winters in the bad weather and slush. You can see the think bubble as a £100 shitter destroys their lowered RR on summer tyres. |
