I believe that something happens which is then reported. I do question the analysis and speculation attached to it. However, having watched "Russia Today" a few times in the past, it is quite clear that we do have the luxury of a free press following their own political agenda rather than a state sponsored mouthpiece. |

To be honest I am one of these people that bury my head in the sand over ‘real news’ I don’t tend to watch it, which is really bad I know.
However I am an avid watcher of anything showbiz wise and I was reading somewhere yesterday and everyone speculating on Ant McPartlin based on what we see on the news, implying he was this lovely bloke and that we really know him but I commented and said ‘we only see what he or his management company want us to see and no one saw his drug problem coming’. Too many people see these celebrities in the media and believe everything they say or do but don’t realise that’s half the truth. Not quite the answer you were looking for as it’s not serious news lol.

No I'll look at the facts and source info from seversl sources and make my mind up.
The best way to see how the same news can be interpreted and portrayed depending on the political agenda is to compare Fox News with CNN in the USA. You would think they existed in alternate dimensions. Frightening! |

The bbc and sky don't report news they report gossip. the difference is news is based on evidence and facts. Perhaps the best example of misleading and fake news is The BBC and Sky ITC CH4 CH5 reporting that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. This has since been proven as fact to have been a lie to gain public backing in starting a war in Iraq which is still ongoing today in Syria |

The majority of what gets broadcast or published even in "legitimate" sources is propaganda.
Does anyone actually believe that the news in Russia is being broadcast from the same angle as it is here? It's all full of spin to give the viewer the opinion that the authorities want to convey. |

I agree. We can no longer be manipulated by religion so we're manipulated by politics. |
