All the very best for today and don't let a bit of fear or worry about being up to it put you off. Most time it proves to be over thinking and the fears rarely happen. Take strength in the fact you're not alone. Let us know how you get on after.

Cheeky x

Good luck.

I planned to go to Uni a couple of years back to get a teaching degree due to redundancy. Unfortunately I looked at the cost involved and 4 years of study (I had to do an access course as well) and I decided, at my point in life, that going self-employed and earning a decent wage and financially securing my future was the "sensible thing to do".

Hope it works out for you though. I have massive respect for anyone that goes back to education after years of work as it's a daunting proposition!

I started a degree at 45, through Open University. Never finished my degree when I was younger. Best decision I've ever made. It's gonna take six years and £17500 to complete but I've got dream I want to achieve and it's good motivation.

Good luck

Yay

I dropped out of mine just before my finals, aged 34. Still intending to finish it one day, just out of sheer bloody mindedness rather than any hope of doing anything with it

I hope it went well.

It could be both in fairness. Dinner lady at lunchtime then a quick change and grab the lollipop for hometime.
