I have made an enquiry at a pub between King's cross and Euston station. For next Sunday (27th march) for 6pm for at least 30 people for a social
Have never arranged a social before, but wondered if there would be any interest. 
Let me know if this date is too short notice, I can always arrange for a more suitable date and location, although I think the location is fairly good situated between 2 major stations

I know strictly speaking your post should be here but try popping it up in the Lounge. This part of the forum never seems to get as much attention and the rest and I'd travel to London for a social. |

Hmmmm... Yes I was just thinking that now too... 
May have to do better planning. If I arranged one from a months time during the week after work, would that work or keep it as a weekend thing? Xx |

Keep it in the future, so people can plan and make a note in their diary.
I'm happy with either post work or weekend.

Right may be best for me to start a list of people going. So if you are interested in this Sunday (27th March) at 6pm. I have a venue already reserved for 20 people at the Euston Flyer Pub between Euston station and King's Cross station. If there are MORE than 20 people coming, I have another venue at the ready which is close to Oxford circus station.

This is a good idea and one that looks like it'll be well attended.
As it stands, at present, I'm busy but if every falls like dominoes (as I hope) I'll definitely take a look at this. |

Probably makes sense to close the list I guess, otherwise it could start to get unwieldy I suppose!
Plus Euston Flyer is a good pub and would be a shame to look elsewhere.

Remember it is a public venue, so nothing too naughty.
It will be from 6-8pm
After which you may go to the near by clubs as someone suggested

Nothing to naughty? I would hope being a public area everyone will behave. I may travel up earlier and have a spot of lunch

Because of the possible number of people going I will have to reconsider the location as the Euston flyer has an area that only accommodates 30 people standing. Will look around the area for an alternative...

Just a quick note to say well done and thanks to Mae. You organised a brilliant social and it seemed like everyone had a great time.
I'm still just gutted that I had to leave before nine! I can imagine there's plenty of you still there having fun! Agh!

Okay, just want to clarify...
I am only human and I make mistakes. If you were on the list and did not receive a message for the invite or an update, the best thing that could have been done was to message me. I see that most did and that was great as there was open communication
Remember it's not easy organising an event and keeping track is hard. As I said before I'm new at this and they will only get better.
I will try to continue hosting and planning these events.
