We booked the train well in advance and got from London to Manchester for £68 return for both of us. X |

Oh, I thought that with it being pretty central there would have been more interest from down south, but what would I know? 
I'm not averse to shelling out a few extra quid to see you lovely lot again, bearing in mind I've not been to one for about 18 months, so pencil me in for whenever it is please |

Clashes with Seesides social, so it's a nay from me.
I think it's Pride that weekend so town will be packed, hotels will already be booked and any that do have rooms will be extortionate.

I'm not sure what's going on but just to clarify a few points...
Our social is open to any fab member who puts their name down on the opening thread. We usually get a mix of regular forum users (as is the nature that they see the threads etc) and also people that don't use the forums (these tend to be typically the single men). It is run on a first come first served basis as our venue has a capacity.
Given that Nik M has been an integral part of our socials (and runs the raffle for us) I'm sad to hear he's been messaged with the suggestion he shouldn't be allowed to attend as he doesn't use the forums enough. This does not reflect our view.
Looking like September for the next one now, we'll get a date out soon xx
