We shall message out seeking confirmation of attendance to everybody including single guys early next week. The venue details will be sent out the day before.

We were planning to head to Xtasia or Chameleons in the evening, but it sounds like they'll both be empty because everyone's in Birmingham!

Events are organised, with a set criteria, numbers, ratios.
If someone wants to attend, it's not that hard to post on the thread, message the organisers directly.
Trying to get in via 'the back door' it's rude.
I've Co hosted events, we've had threads running, posting on it from the Event profile, but then I've posted from my own profile, and the messages flood in.
My standard answer was 'contact the organisers'
Not one of them did!

by chatting and asking...there are badges that say brum social...so you know whose in the group if say on the dance floor. Many of the names are not viewable by members of the public...I would write your name on some pieces of paper..like a business card...so if you do chat to someone you can swop contact details... or indeed just put in your phone.. |

Thanks for organising Milly & Harry. Great night, lovely venue, superb turn out. We dont get the opportunity to get out on our own very often so maybe enjoyed our own company a bit too much rather than socialising but hey, those we did chat to were lovely and those we didnt chat to looked lovely too We'll keep an eye out for the next one and will be sure to try and make it.
