You need to check that your browser still has permission to pass your location to m.famswingers.com

It's not your settings. It's the persons who thinks your 60 miles away.

Good point! How do you know your location? When you turn on "who's near", you should get "We got your location OK: 53.478511,-2.279639". Is yours correct?

Have you checked the lat and long figures that it gives you? Are they for Manchester or Wakefield?

If your phone is showing the correct location, then

a) another user, in Wakefield, is telling you that they see you as being close by. It's possible that their phone thinks that they are in Manchester and therefore sees you as being close.

b) you are seeing a user, who you know to be at home in Wakefield, close to you. This again, is likely to be a problem with their phone not updating the position correctly.

If your phone is showing the wrong location, and GPS, Maps, etc. are working, then try turning permission off and on and see if that corrects things.

I can assure you it does!

I presume that what you mean is "when I look at Who's Near, the closest people I see have entered their location as London and Wales"? Unless you've spoken to them directly, how do you know that they are not currently close to you?

For instance, if I look at mine now, as well as locals, I can see a couple who live over 100 miles away, but I know from their status, that they are in my area!
