Hello admins / people of power. While I get that you want to discourage the competition. It’s a little bit annoying writing a message to someone, accidentally without thinking putting in the name of a competing website (without the .com) and then getting an error message and blocked from sending messages for a couple of hours

Could i suggest you make it so that only web addresses are recognised as addresses or have a couple of warnings before the ban window hits.

What about links that end up creating problems for other harm by scammers. It's safer as it is and protects everyone nothing harsh about how the site is run putting a little thought into prior messages helps

It doesn't matter if you put the .com or not you are still mentioning competing sites. Why would they want to make it easier for you to do that?
