Perhaps your photos are too big a file size and your problem isn’t due to what make of phone you have but the connection.
A guess is that it was a problem with the network when you were doing the upload and perhaps after 9 hours if you tried again it might now be successful.

Try clearing the junk files for the browser and same for the photo app as it might be due to space needed. Because each time you upload pictures anywhere it creates more files
