I’ve noticed that sometimes a photo that is the correct rotation in my gallery once uploaded to fab gets rotated 90 degrees
Could fab add a rotation option after a photo is uploaded to correct this or I guess correct the bug that caused it |

That’s seems a simple solution but not possible as how would the Fab gallery know what’s the correct orientation ?
You I assume you use a phone so I suggest you use one of those photo Apps which you can manipulate the hell out of your photograph and rotate & save to your desired x & y co-ordinates.

That’s the issue though the photo is the correct orientation in the gallery only once it’s uploaded does fab decide to rotate it and regardless what rotation you do on the device to try and trick it it still happens |

Try taking a picture with the phone in it's normal orientation and one in landscape orientation, upload both pics without editing and see what happens.
Some phones will autocorrect orientation in the gallery, so when that happens the photo will appear the correct orientation but when uploaded to a website the meta data (hidden code attached the photo) will change orientation.
To fix the issue you need take a picture with correct orientation on your phone or edit the photo in another app like Photoshop express, which will correct the orientation, then upload and try again. |

Actual sensible reply thank very much was interesting that in the end I had to remove all the metadata however it was still rotated when I downloaded however rotating it the correct orientation on my phone with all metadata removed has solved the issue
I would assume and hope that fab removes all metadata when an image is uploaded anyway and therefore it was a similar scenario so a simple option in fab to rotate would still solve the issue without extra apps and websites
Thanks again |

Glad we solved the mystery.
As for fab fixing the issue, I think they have bigger fish to fry currently ... but I live in hope! |
