I’ve just got a VPN to protect data etc but I can’t connect to FAB when it’s activated. Any idea what to do other than turn it off when I want to use FAB ?

Try choosing a different server? Don’t have any issues here connecting with a vpn running

Im using nordvpn now, if you're using your mobile it would be worth re installing the softeare again, remember to accept the permissions that it needs to work. Maybe just try another server, im on one of th US ones at the moment.

Why you think that vpn is so “safe” ?

If you use wifi to connect, your username and password can be captured. A vpn will encrypt all data before that can happen. I have played about with the software in tbe past and it only took half hour to learn enough to do it.

You don't know how an Https website works then?

HTTPS isn't bullet proof. Dodgy certs etc exist.
