So once again wee Nicola is following BoJo and bringing in the rule of 6
Instead of playing politics perhaps she should have set aside differences from the beginning and worked together with the whole of the uk. Eradicate all the mixed messages and different rules and acted as 1 country. Nobody can say now, she has done better than any other country where infections are concerned , only that she has come across slightly better than some other politicians.
Just maybe we could have saved a few more lives had we not followed Bojo by a couple of weeks later on almost every decision.

Honestly it's all a bit of a joke now . No wonder people are confused.
You can't go gather your family at granny's house for Sunday lunch but you can go to the pub.
You can't get a GP appointment but it's fine to get your hair and nails or even a new tattoo done.
We can send the kids to school but we will make them do PE outside in the cold and no longer have a hot food or drink provision.
Our mental health services are already stretched and under resourced but let's stop people having contact in other people's houses and not offer face to face support. It's all going to get so much worse.
Oh and if you need to get a test, there's a fair chance you'll have to drive to one 2 hours away.
And the most heartbreaking things coming out of the Left Stranded report by the National Autistic Society. People who had their world's turned upside down overnight with no support.
While I've no objections to wearing my mask and distancing, I've been working all the way through and I've no plans to put the rest of my families life on hold.
Granted I'm maybe in a fortunate position of no longer having my parents or grandparents to worry about (it's not really but less to worry over)
However, I can totally understand people who are no longer paying any attention to the guidance.

Where I work it was found we were getting updated rules almost daily and it was found people just switched off and stopped opening the huge download emails . Information overload was mentioned to our hr department. We stopped getting the updates almost immediately as EVERYONE gave the same feedback. Multiply that over a country and it explains why covid is returning.imo |

I never said she should listen to Bojo , what I said was they should have worked together as one, taking away lots of the confusion and having the same rules for all, but nicola used it as a chance to wield her power and be different. It's backfiring now as scoland is no better than anywhere else in fact worse than many other countries. |

Nothing confusing about it !! She’s very clear and concise about the rules we live in Scotland we follow the Scottish government rules it’s pretty simple 
Statistics are showing she’s far more on the ball and the measures being put in place in Scotland and working better than elsewhere in the uk, but let’s take a moment to be clear they aren’t Nicolas rules they are rules that have been discussed but many and she’s the nominated spokesperson it’s not a bee colony and she’s not queen bee !!

Tend to agree. The decisions are based on certain numbers over where outbreaks are traced to. Shes not doing it randomly, although some decisions can look inconsistent, a wee bit or further thought will show up a valid explanation |

I'm going to disagree with you there. Wee Nicola and Bojo for that matter had the power to enforce the rules stringently, if that meant councils hiring covid wardens to patrol parks, shops , offices,etc and actually enforce the rules instead of leaving it in the hands of the people ( that went well eh ? ) then perhaps we would be back to virtual normality by now.
So yes I blame all political parties for the farce we see now. Containing a virus , your either all in or all out , you can't do half measures here and there. |

Your naming one thing the media jumped on , what the media failed to say was there are 19 other sports and hobbies that are exempt from the rules too. So yes there is totally mixed messages , what you can and can't do, your strengthening my original point. It's confusing people , simple as that. |
