Simply by paying someone to smuggle them to the uk
Makes them criminals
It’s illegal to enter the uk without a valid passport or via the proper routes
If they seek safety from danger they should claim asylum in the first country they come to not travel across Europe then pay tho enter the uk |

apparently 2.7 million illegal immigrants have entered eu this year so far.... so although there should be a huge cross the channel tax for rubber boats... boarder checks in middle of sea like eu want for NI, cant pay.. turn round then..... the uk is not in the same position as other eu countries.... |

I don't think it shows or makes the UK an especially attractive place to get to for a few reasons.
A. Our level of immigrants \ asylum seekers is rather low compared to other Western Countries.
B: To get here requires crossing a major water body that can be very dangerous and the resulting deaths that occur are widely reported by the media.
C: The media whip the general public up in a _renzy of hatred at the thought of other nationalities trying to better their lives by escaping their home nations. |
