So the uk is considering going in with Denmark and setting up a asylum processing centre in Rwanda, thoughts.

Good idea. It would give another option to those trying to find their way to the UK and the EU, keeping some of them out of the hands of the traffickers, saving them the arduous and dangerous journey.

I always find it amusing when immigration is likened to the final solution. The Germans themselves were the immigrants in the countries they invaded.

Nothing has been decided yet, other than Denmark has signed an exploratory agreement with Rwanda to outsource asylum applications.

They are also talking to Egypt, Ethiopia and Tunisia.

The Times has reported that we are talking to the Danes, on possibly sharing this facility, if it happens.

It may well work out more expensive for the uk but could potentially save many lives and cut human trafficking.

If they are processed in Africa will they be subject to our human rights laws?

Why would they change wherever they are processed?

Imagine getting all the way here from say Vietnam for example and at the end of that gruelling journey you get told you are off to Rwanda to languish in a facility somewhere. A place which not long ago was carrying out genocide on itself while the world watched hand wringing.

What could go wrong

The mighty Gunners advertise the Country on their shirts. You would be vicariously putting money in our transfer coffers.

And the problem with the current immigration and asylum system is?

Those that ignore this are sure not going to use a processing centre in Rwanda.
