It's important to remember that Zelensky is an actor and a comedian as well as the Ukrainian president. He's playing the part of 'inspiring wartime leader' incredibly well and is exactly what the country needs. Even if he doesn't believe his own hype, it's important to be seen to act like a strong leader.
Boris is playing a role as well. The bumbling, wooly headed japester act got him the London mayor job and it got him into no. 10. It also gets him off the hook time and again and people will still likely vote for him.
He doesn't possess the same cool wit that Zelensky has and he just looks lost whenever he tries to speak seriously and from the heart. But he's still 'good old boris' to those who support him. |

Boris Wishes he had the Statesmanship of Zelensky, Besides he is on borrowed Time, of course being the pathological liar he is, he would gladly hog the limelight, and tell everyone it was him who won it, he doesn't realise that we have no choice at the moment, we're stuck with him for the time being, He still has whole list of misdemeanours that haven't gone away, and they will be waiting for him after this is over. |

Agree with all this,Think he's just trying to do what he thinks his job is.
Boris is just playing to an audience who quite ironically are being given directives to like him by others.They could topple him tomorrow just like they did with May and his ‘loyal supporters’ would of course say they were always against him. |

Whilst there is always room for improvement, the success of Boris to date is remarkable. This is probably perfectly illustrated by those who constantly criticise him and are unable to accept that he has unique qualities which many other politicians lack.
Let's reflect on his success

2. He lead a successfull exit from the EU.
3. Management of Covid is a perfect illustration of how much the government care. Loans for businness and strenuous efforts to obtain ppe.

Even if all of the above is true (and it is very subjective) none of that excuses the increasingly long list of ineptitude and corruption.
1) Johnski is seriously Kompomat (even the British Intelligence Services have raised concerns).
2) He has enabled the largest theft of stare assets and transfer into private hands (of friends, family, cronies and donors) in British history.
3) He has used emergency powers to bypass appropriate due diligence in Govt procurement to such an extent the DHSC have an £8bn loss in their annual accounts due to substandard PPE.
4) On his watch the Govt stalled and prevaricated on taking Covid protection measures to such an extent (just one example being the six week delay to closing the borders to flights from India) that 000s more died than would have.
5) Under his leadership the decision was made to transfer untested elderly patients out of hospitals and into care homes causing yet more 000s of avoidable deaths.
6) He has repeatedly lied to Parliament about almost everything.
The man is a joke and the ONLY reason he got an 80 seat majority was because so many deluded fools voted for him on a single topic of get brexit done. And what an utter shambles that has turned out to be as well!! |

Very successfully? That's debatable. Only 43% of the electorate gave him a majority of 80 seats in the HoC.
