It seems many Tory voters don’t see the problem or care. Same with the Policing and Crime bill. Slow, steady erosion of our democracy. The Johnson led govt tried to use the cover of Covid to push through legislation while people were distracted. Similarly the Rwanda thing has been grabbing headlines to distract.
