Gloucestershire

A 62% disapproval rating, nearly at the heights of the May premiership which was at 70%.

It looks more and more likely that there might be reckoning soon.

The propaganda machine will crank up before the GE. The Tories are safe no matter how much distain they show for British people.

Cost of living crisis and highest tax burden in 70 years coincides with mid term. In the lead up to the general election there will be “give aways” and tax cuts. And loads of Tory voters will sing their praises!

WTF every Friday at 4 o’clock . This is our PM in charge of party central . Regardless of Covid why is this allowed at the heart of our government. They should be ready and available to be working 24hours a day. What are we paying for?

Agreed. It’s incredible how much the Mail are protecting him, even though in the comments section even their readers are scathing about him.

The Express reads like a Conservative Press release…

Agreed. Just the basics of did he lie at the dispatch box seems impossible to defend.

It doesn't really feel like there's been any opposition, or any level of quality political debate for a few years.

Who knows they don’t have a voice and anything they say will be used to either destroy them or stolen by Boris and claimed as his own. It’s not as easy as everyone thinks being in opposition. If you lay out all your cards, the incumbents can cherry pick and weaken any positives before you can be elected. Then they just set about anything people won’t like and scream look at that! The party in government can lie and the opposition can’t prove otherwise as they can’t implement anything .

The Labour Party are calling for a windfall tax and it will come but it will be Rishi’s idea not the labour party’s . The tories claim it will hinder investment and yet the oil companies announced the £70B investment before their excess profits started and the BP chairman confirmed it won’t affect investment. So no harm will be done at all but the Tory press say jobs at risk. Bullshit. It will affect dividends of both companies maybe . But seeing as they are both majority owned by the USA so what. Oh and with profits approaching £40B a £4B extra tax hit is not catastrophic in the slightest.

If labour say they will tax fairly the tories will scream tax rises for all when in fact it will just be the rich who are taxed more . That won’t matter the message will be carried and twisted by the Conservative controlled media .

I’m not advocating vote Starmer as I don’t know their plans. I am advocating anyone other than Tory to for one thing stop the sinister legal constraints they are planning against the judiciary and secondly gag the last elements of the free press.

A one party state is not far away. Look to Russia to see how that works out.

The present Conservative government have been a catastrophe for this country. The uncontrolled behaviour of theft and constant lies along with the long term structural damage due to a bad Brexit deal will be a burden to our children for many decades.

Boris and Co are about power not the people.

It's says they're not as well funded and don't have the same propaganda machine.
