Pensioner gets radicalised

Well guess we know that the pensioner who threw incendiary devices at the immigration centre in Dover was radicalised by the far right to carry out this attack.

Is it time we blocked pensioners from the internet? Apart from being scammed regularly, should we be adding parental controls or time limits to their internet usage.

Or should we been teaching them to use the internet responsibly? Like how to post properly on instagram or how to know set up an email account without asking someone else?

Do we need to protect our old folk from themselves just as we teach our kids to wary of strangers?

Why isn’t the government doing a campaign to protect old people from online far right grooming gangs.

Should we expect them to be eating butterscotch candy? and living the rest of their lives in blissful ignorance and make them happy by replaying episodes of some mother do have em or faulty towers?

How can we protect our old folk, from far right predators?

What are your thoughts?

Well obviously they are all the same! Sponging off the rest of us on their benefits. Stuck on their cultural views and unwilling to adapt. Clearly they are all radicalised terrorists that are a threat to the British way of life. We don’t want them here so why don’t we ship them off to another country!

So in a recent documentary, far right predators have been seen hanging around day care centres offering them assistance to cross roads. This was the first step in radicalism. They would then befriend the pensioners and once trust is established would start exposing them to content unsuitable for people their age, such as Nigel Farage.

It is even worse than that. Proprietors of right wing propaganda publications also drive up circulation with these pensioners by including seemingly innocuous magazine inserts focused on cooking, gardening and knitwear. The unknowing pensioners then regularly buy these propaganda publications and through a steady drip of editorial become further radicalised without even knowing it is happening.

Also a recent raid of terrorist cell which the police have dubbed as a “knitting circle” foiled a plot of far right pensioners in distributing scarfs for reform UK.

The police spokesman said that pensioner related radicalism is on the rise, mainly due to the fact that relatives do not interact with them and they are isolated, so they are easy targets and these far right groups offer a place where they can easily express their rage at being ignored.

One publication apparently was offering gardening tips and how to join the Conservative party in the article called “how to grow daffodils and complain about immigration to your local Carlton club meeting”

Indeed and there is also worrying data to show that these silver surfers are increasingly turning to social media to find community and brotherhood. They are congregating in virtual echo chambers where the more moderate are slowly groomed to become more right wing and radical. The most worrying trend is an inability to identify this increasingly radicalised thinking in themselves due to the “slow drag to the right” in their media interactions and echo chambers meaning that anyone with a different viewpoint is now seen as a loony leftie or woke (although some do privately admit they do not actually know what “woke” means).

Who said that! As if any of us are saying any such thing! Never said I don’t like golfers. In fact I know some very nice ones. Always say hello always neighbourly (I mean I don’t invite them round to mine or anything but I smile and wave when putting the bins out, can’t have them thinking I am golfist)

Except the ones who are not Golfers enough. Those ones are fair game. Their golfing values do not align to the club so should not be on the committee or even in the 19th hole. You can normally spot them as they tend to wear Lyle & Scott rather than Pringle.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I get. I mean, why do these pensioners get special treatment? Why, for example, do they get their own special seats on public transport?

Why do they get their own shop full of stuff only they really want to buy? I mean sure, any of us can venture in, but you try getting a seat in the cafe of a lunch time, it’s bloody full of ‘em drinking their tea and eating cakes in their huddles wearing quilted coats radicalising each other! I just don’t feel comfortable in there!

And what value, culturally, have they added to the country? Ok apart from some nice music and maybe spotted dick, sponge pudding, apple crumble and the like, their culinary influence has not really enriched us as a nation!

I think that a fair finger of suspicion can be pointed at the propaganda publications that these so called pensioners read. The hate filled periodicals such as the people's friend, reader's digest and No78 bus timetable must shoulder some responsibility for codgers and biddies choosing the dark pathway to radicalism.

Wasn't like this when I were a young 'un. It was all just fields round 'ere y'know...

"The more I think about it the more annoyed I get.

I know, I walked past a ‘gang’ of these pensioners loitering outside a bingo hall and felt scared, makes you wonder what they are up to . "

They were appalled by the smell of stale urine as you often admit to PMSL

"I think that a fair finger of suspicion can be pointed at the propaganda publications that these so called pensioners read. The hate filled periodicals such as the people's friend, reader's digest and No78 bus timetable must shoulder some responsibility for codgers and biddies choosing the dark pathway to radicalism.

Wasn't like this when I were a young 'un. It was all just fields round 'ere y'know...

"

You are clearly only joking calling them codgers and biddies though right because otherwise the woke will cancel your free speech!

Nothing to do with the tan, many of these pensioners are SAGA louts getting boozed up on cruises in the Med, although admittedly their tans are more angry pink than brown. It was your lack of grey hair. You just don’t fit in so they can’t trust you. Besides they don’t like to integrate with the rest of us!

"So in a recent documentary, far right predators have been seen hanging around day care centres offering them assistance to cross roads. This was the first step in radicalism. They would then befriend the pensioners and once trust is established would start exposing them to content unsuitable for people their age, such as Nigel Farage. "

Can’t be too careful or before you know it we won’t be able to walk down the highstreet without getting crushed by the ever growing number of mobility scooters! They are lethal and just have no place in this country.

BTW you seem to be making a connection to an individual. Can’t see any specific mention. We have been talking generally about the serious threat to the security and culture of our country posed by radical pensioners. It is on the rise and we are just raising what we have see (or what a friend of mine’s sister’s auntie’s brother-in-law was told).

As long as they don’t try to be one of us though then that is ok. It is on the rise and we are just raising what we have see (or what a friend of mine’s sister’s auntie’s brother-in-law was told).

Are we not allowed to talk about these worrying trends?

Well the OP did refer specifically to the guy at Dover. As I said, it’s a funny read and of course it’s not a ‘worrying trend’ - was that a joke?

What is funny is that certain posters that don’t have a sense of humour suddenly think they have.

I have a fantastic sense of humour by the way.

Jesus was born in a stable, doesn’t make him a horse!

He's over 2000 years old at this point, so definitely a pensioner.

I’m doubled up in pain laughing at that one. Who knew you and your cabal had a sense of humour ?

I hope we have all learnt something here, allykpuhh pensioners are responsible for every terror attack on asylum seekers accommodation, not all pensioners are terrorists

True, but only a small minded , bigoted moron would blame an entire group of people fur the actions of a few, however, I don’t understand why they get preferential treatment and government hand outs but that is for another thread

What all of them? Are you saying they are all the same? That’s a bit of a sweeping generalisation! What about the radicalised ones? What about all those examples we have been giving?

How do you know they bought with their own hard earned money? Their pensions are funded by us taxpayers so they can just swan around playing golf. Haven’t they all served their purpose anyway, contributed to the economy sure, but for their own gain obviously, so shouldn’t they now toddle off now we don’t want them. They’re all just open to radicalisation anyway and that will harm the British way of life!

Some people on this post have surprised me with a keen sense of humour. And gone up in my estimation. Who knew it?

Others of course stick to their nasty bigoted wierd agendas. Perhaps this is what people morph into when they realise they can’t even get a shag on a swingers website?

Just a quick look at the news reports of the guys coming out of their homes.

The level of abuse is much higher than reported. In 2019, an ex head of the local Coop said there is more than one million pensioners in the UK, and rising at over 150,000 each year. Estimated cost to the NHS - £330 million!

Our good nature, proud history of compassion & British values being abused indeed.

Of course pensions are not a ‘ponzi scheme’. Ridiculous statement - take it back.

A generation to be admired - unlike todays youth who seem to think that paying for a phone is ‘optional’

Paid many times over for their own pensions if you don’t mind.

How do you know they paid in? Could have been on benefits whole life? Are you happy that your taxes paid for lazy pensioners to sit at home ordering takeaways while watching TV?

Anyway you are going off topic! We are talking about dodgy radicalised pensioners. Does this not worry you?

**P.S. you know of course that when it comes to state pension, you have not paid a penny towards yours. That is not how it works. It is a ponzi scheme. New joiners (ie current workers) are paying for state pension if recipients now. You paid for generation before."

What about pensioners that leave the UK and still claim their pensions abroad, where is their commitment to Britain? Are they British enough to claim a British pension

What is funny is that certain posters that don’t have a sense of humour suddenly think they have.

You have had a horrid cancer battle, lost your son, and your marriage has fallen apart. You are probably also having financial worries, prices are rising too. Throw in being socially ostracised as an older single male.

Now bring in mainstream media reporting all the people arriving and being put up in hotels...It really is not hard to see how anybody who is in a lonely and desperate situation would think 'fudge it I'll show them'.

The sad thing is media has already stage managed things so it isnt even clear how the man died. Was it police bullets, armed forces bullets, migrants, the public, or himself?

If you want to know who radicalised him it won't be any far right group. It will be society as a whole for allowing the situation to continue.

Sometimes people come out with total shit & bollocks that you have to take a deep breath and just hope they are not that thick or simply being disingenuous to try and make a point. Mind you, we do know some on here that Fabricate total crap.

Of course pensions are not a ‘ponzi scheme’. Ridiculous statement - take it back.

I’m happy to be part of a community that takes care of fellow citizens less fortunate. "

Can’t we get back to the humour, it is much more fun!

Of course the state pension is a ponzi/pyramid scheme. There is no pension pot you or I have paid into. You know that right? It is nothing like a private pension. It is 100% funded from current taxation. Ergo if you have fewer workers or workers earning less to tax you have less money to fund the state pension of those who are retired. If you have more pensioners and living longer then you need more money paying the current state pension. Only solutions are:

1) Pay smaller pension

2) Pay higher tax from those currently working

3) Get more workers so they can pay tax

Right that’s the serious stuff, now I want to get back to our highstreets starting to be taken over by rabid gangs of purple haired pensioners on mobility scooters. It is getting too intimidating to walk our own streets! It’s like Mad Max out there. Well Mad Maude anyway.

Oh dear. Seb this is still most certainly a lighthearted thread to illustrate the type of argument used about other types of people. Are you taking any of this seriously? It’s just banter. Stop being all woke and cancel culture. Lighten up.

I have seen the funny side of it and a few points made me laugh. Sadly the usual gang of bullies have to steam in and hijack it for their own agenda or just a wind up.

Thankfully others can see them for the narrow minded twisted cunts that they are.

Now now we don’t like language like that around here thanks. It might be acceptable amongst the Pringle wearing 19th hole pensioners, but this is a nice place and language like that is not a good way to integrate with the fab forum society.

Yeah, potty mouth but you know who I mean. And we wonder why more people don’t take part in the forum"

But he is entitled to an opinion and may only have been joking! Older people using words like that just shows how society is breaking down. These golfing pensioners are having a negative impact on the youngsters. I mean what other language are they using in their clubs that we don’t know about? Who knows where it will end! Worrying no?

"While this does make for a funny read, it also shows the true colours of some for taking the suicide of someone that clearly had mental health issues as a source of humour.

Not as WOKE as you like to think perhaps?

It was just a joke. Some people! Are we not allowed an opinion?

BTW you seem to be making a connection to an individual. Can’t see any specific mention. We have been talking generally about the serious threat to the security and culture of our country posed by radical pensioners. It is on the rise and we are just raising what we have see (or what a friend of mine’s sister’s auntie’s brother-in-law was told).

It was very good

I hope we have all learnt something here, allykpuhh pensioners are responsible for every terror attack on asylum seekers accommodation, not all pensioners are terrorists

Although

It is hard to believe when you see these pensioners with designer clothes & trainers waving & smiling as they come out of their houses. Others with heads down & hoods up of course. We have no idea who they are.

All bought with their own hard earned money.

A generation to be admired - unlike todays youth who seem to think that paying for a phone is ‘optional’

You paid for generation before.

Well Mad Maude anyway."

This came up on another thread. Point 3 is self defeating as those extra workers will one day be pensioners themselves. Not only does it kick the can down the road it also makes the future problem worse. Anyway on the theme of this thread I say just arrest Mr Kippling, he is clearly the hate cleric and seducing his followers with marzipan

A lot of people could learn a lot, and society would be better with golf etiquette.

Safely though, to master golf it takes a bit of talent and a lot of hard work. Attributes that have been lost in the last decade or so.

You paid for generation before.

But we are not talking about dangerous radicalised pensioners. This was clearly a lighthearted thread, in poor taste in my opinion but it’s turned into the usual rabid pack piss take.

I’m more worried about Chelsea on Sunday

Disingenuous

I hope all pensioners don’t use that type of language, shocking "

Shouldn't we send them all to Rwanda, just to be on the safe side.

BTW you seem to be making a connection to an individual. Can’t see any specific mention.

And don’t forget that many of women of a certain age were shafted when they increased the retirement age from sixty to sixty seven.

You had me at " women of a certain age were shafted ""

Broken news, a recent police statement has issued the reasons why pensioners are being targeted for radicalism.

Detective chief inspector Hans Katup said, “pensioners are useful in terror cells as they can easily forget details of plots due to bad memories, which makes them the perfect operatives in the field”

One recent suspect, Elsie Briggsworth was interrogated by Hams hall station found that it was near enough impossible to obtain any answers related to a plot regarding a poison pen letters, with officers despairing that she thought she was a contestant on the price is right.

"Well guess we know that the pensioner who threw incendiary devices at the immigration centre in Dover was radicalised by the far right to carry out this attack.

What are your thoughts?"

no if we do that then also the young should be barred not seen many oap jihad's

Things are stirring. Plans of pensioners to march to Manston demanding that they get sent to five star hotels for the winter. Heating & three meals a day. You heard it here first

They should be careful as these can be dangerous places. BBC say now that a teenage boy has been rxpxd and another touched inappropriately by these asylum seekers

Well at least we have the Public Order Bill. All these badly behaved pensioners will end up being arrested and tagged. The person organising it is no doubt already under surveillance. And if any of them plan on using those walking sticks or mobility scooters as weapons, well the police can pre-empt that and just assume they intend to and arrest them anyway! Also the sight of all those dodgy, possibly radicalised, pensioners could cause distress to two or more people, so again the police can take action.

The police would be the least of their worries. If they turn up at all, by the time they have worked out (or done a risk assessment?) whether to take the knee or dance the Macarena the pensioners will have struck. Mission accomplished, break out the thermos flasks!

Planned sensible pensioners = good. We all get that don’t we? We have a proud history of welcoming pensioners and have at times provided refuge to those in need.

Uncontrolled mass pensioners - bad. Especially when it was politically driven as per Tony Blair’s wish to ‘stick it up the Tories in the shores’. This ultimately led to the disaster of Brexit.

Who is in favour of mass uncontrolled pensioners?

Illegal pensioners- bad. People from wherever turning up on our shores, finding dangerous & illegal ways to gain entry. Overwhelmingly old men. History repeatedly shows that where you have an excess of old men you get social unrest.

People abusing our compassion & good nature.

Who thinks this is good?

We have seen the consequences before of disillusioned or failed pensioners going on to commit horrific crimes.

Just in the last few days things have gone from bad to much worse.

We are seeing incidents of child sexual abuse & r@pe. We saw the other day a number of old men left on a coach in Victoria, they found themselves without accommodation or food but why is that the responsibility of the British authorities, they should have been grateful that they hadn’t been kicked out back to France which they left of their own accord.

Stoke centre is according to locals becoming a no go zone due to gangs of pensioners.

Already this influx is being felt in the courts.

So, planned pensioners good. Mass uncontrolled pensioners bad. Illegal pensioners bad.

Put aside the usual cries of ‘ageist’ ‘pensionist’, and tell me why you disagree with the above.

Making distasteful and potentially offensive comments is actively encouraged by some on here who are then regularly claiming they were joking. Is it more offensive because someone is claimed to have mental health issues* (you missed out the word “health” it matters) than if they have darker skin or speak another language? Or are those people fair game?

*BTW has anyone noticed the pattern? If the terrorist is white and right wing, they always seem to have mental health issues. Everyone else are just evil bastards! Makes you think?

Or are those people fair game?

*BTW has anyone noticed the pattern? If the terrorist is white and right wing, they always seem to have mental health issues. Everyone else are just evil bastards! Makes you think?

Are you aware of the facts regarding the guy that I'm not ? Other than his ethnicity.

Nice try but it doesn’t quite work. Americans are fairly notorious for not understanding sarcasm and satire, which are cornerstones of British humour. It is one of the reasons we have the saying “two countries divided by a common language”.

China on the other hand is a completely different culture. Do they get satire and sarcasm?

Yes or course.

"Illegal immigration is the migration of people into a country in violation of the immigration laws of that country or the continued residence without the legal right to live in that country. Illegal immigration tends to be financially upward, from poorer to richer countries."

"A load of morons thinking they're comedians. Attempting humour over the death of someone with mental issues.

We're making fun of someone closer to home.

No problem with that but keep

It real. You make a post about me that is untrue then claim I’m denying what I said. Try stocking

G to the truth.

What about the anti-immigrant thread you started, which you then filled up with posts about not being anti-immigrant?

Read it again. I said I am not anti immigration. You choose not to distinguish between immigration and illegal immigration. You are not thick so I assume you are doing it for other reasons

Anti British perhaps?

So - I’m correcting a falsehood that you persist with, not denying anything.

Keep it real please.

Yes! You're getting it. You said you're not anti-immigration after your anti-immigrant rants. That's exactly what we discuss.

But there simply wasn’t an anti immigrant rant.

I am not anti immigrant. Are you thick or a fantasist?

Green arrow yourself there. You'll find the anti-immigrant thread you started with your rant at the very top.

Takeaway curry for one. Don’t spill it on your vest

Cooked by immigrants.

Good chance. My go to restaurants here are run and staffed by some lovely people.

All from overseas, all fabulous. They all fear the Albanians though. Your friends though I guess? "

Well who can blame them for fearing the ever increasing Albanian gangs which today we learn from the BBC are paying the crossing fees for those that will join their criminal gangs. That comes after we learn also on the BBC that 2 youngsters have been sexually assaulted (1 rap@d) by those claiming to be in need of our help.
