We're not trying to be ignorant, least I'm not, I can't speak for everyone can I! Just genuinely don't have any context or information to support what you said, not saying it doesn't exist. If I made a statement like that one would be able to at least share a source, that is what I'm pessimistic about which I am so far correct |

This was decision to build this was in 2012 and final decision to build it was taken in 2022. What has it got to do with Ed Milliband ? A fortune has been spent on it already so I doubt he could stop it even if he wanted to. |

You could stop us from being ignorant by just telling us what's bad about the Sizewell C design, or giving us a link to a site that explains it, or even just telling us which words to search for.

The "problem" with the design has been that it's 'new' and all the stations using the design in Europe (Flamanville, Hinckley Point and one in Iceland) have all over run and exceeded budgets.
Once they are finished they work absolutely fine.
The other thing about a nuclear power station is the safety measures. You don't want to rush it or you can cause a major issue much further along. |

Milliband? Just looking at their own website and it states clearly that "Government invests £700 million" the date for this was.. oh December 2022. I'll check but I don't think Eddie was anywhere near government in December 2022? What do you think? |
