Now Easter is upon us the Egyptians forced the Jews to build magnificent pyramids before they escaped. Should Israel be paid for the work forced to be done? |

"No their only spend it on more bombs!
They get bombs for free I think from the Americans as they get all things paid for by America
"
Americans supply the bombs with a cast iron guarantee. When they break they get a free replacement. |

I think the whole “past deeds” of a country should be left to lie. It would just be a line drawing exercise and that’s very subjective.
Next thing you’ll have the sl@ve traders wanting to be paid for transport services |

As a matter of historical record, the Jews did not build the Pyramids or any other Egyptian monuments for that matter.
The Pyramids were built by very skilled Egyptian craftsmen/women. The whole idea that they were built by forced labour was debunked decades ago now. |

As alot of Islamic extremists seem to be living in past, so why not, the Israelies have been oppressed by many regimes for thousands of years.
Egyptians were not Islamic but the principle still stands as the are Islamic now and claim the Pyramids.
However if they hadn't ensl@ved the Jews the story of Moses would not have happened.
Ying n Yang.

And remember when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Remember Allah’s favours upon you when He raised prophets from among you, made you sovereign, and gave you what He had never given anyone in the world.
O my people! Enter the Holy Land which Allah has destined for you to enter. And do not turn back or else you will become losers.”
Nothing about pyramids there, though. |

I’m not a reader of what man has to say about god, but isn’t the timeline a bit mixed up here? The Quran mentions Jesus so must be AD and wasn’t Moses meant to be like 800 years earlier? |

"remember when" = past tense... ~2000 years earlier. |

No, the legal precedent for this is. The British sl*ve owners being compensated for losing their sla#ves when sla%very was abolished.
So the Egyptians should be the ones being compensated.
In 1833, when sl**ery was abolished in the British Empire, the government agreed to pay sl*ve owners £20 million to compensate for the loss of their property (ensl*ved people). This money was distributed to approximately 46,000 claimants. The ensl*ved people themselves received no compensation. |

As posted before, the Israelite s1aves didn't build the Pyramids.
But if Egypt does owe Israel, it's for being a main aggressor in the 1948 war - and the subsequent wars that followed.
Additionally they owe the Palestinian Arabs for causing the Nakba, occupying Gaza, supporting terrorist Fedayeen, not taking refugees and generally allowing the strip go to shit during its occupation. |

Didn't Egypt force those Palestinians who left Israel during the Nakba, to leave Egypt and go back to Israel. This due to the fact that these Palestinians could then be used by the Arab League as a proganda tool,

I don't know the full detail, but there was a resettlement plan that moved several thousand families into Sinai, but Nasser stopped the plan and chose to keep the Palestinian Arabs as political pawns instead.
Interestingly, there were local clashes in Gaza between the established population and the refugees who weren't always welcome - they weren't one big nebulous blob of matching identity.
