I don’t suppose he cares that much.
He had got his “Big Beautiful Bill” through and has successfully shut the southern border.
Europe has spent decades making itself irrelevant. In global terms it just isn’t where the US is focused. |

He hates the fact the US is the world police and these things crosses his desk.
However, he loves the fact that they are the richest and most powerful country in the world and that buys him power on the global stage |

He desperately wants a Nobel peace prize so this is going to dent those chances a bit!
He will get credit for India Pakistan, the Middle East stuff was ruined when they took part in the bombing raids and the constant vetoes at the UN… plus the way they at ICE and DHS are acting domestically will hurt
And his “big beautiful bill” is going to cost him the house and senate in 18 months time… the cuts in Medicaid, veterans services and food assistance programs are going to hit his most ardent rural supporters

4 million….. try accounting to the government independent congressional budget office more like 17 million people
Then there are the stuff he promised but not
Tax free on tips .. sort of .. up to 12k, only lasts 2 years, tax free overtime.. sort of, up to 25k only lasts 2 years
The roll back on solar and wind energy subsidies, sounds good.. 1 problem, it will increase your electricity bills! |

You could be right can't remember what I was listening to now to go back and check.
I have to confess I haven't followed it closely, however, it sounds a lot like what Liz Truss??
