Angela Rayner resigns.
Unfortunate but necessary given what's happened.
Knowing our Government need to set the highest possible of standards and we can but hope her replacement as deputy pm will do best for the people.
Best wishes to Angela going forward.

Agree. The hypocrisy from the Tories, and as for the grifter Farage, well what was he doing in the USA yesterday when he is paid to be in Parliament representing his constituency and not trying to get the US to impose sanctions on Britain, whilst promoting the launch of GB News in the US (in which he has a minority share holding). What an absoluet c*nt he is. |

Unfortunately her replacement is the hopeless Lammy so a forlorn hope I’m afraid. |

Major reshuffles like this demonstrate that senior ministerial roles aren't much more than generic low-skilled management jobs.
Imagine a building company where the boss turns up one day and says I've sacked the plumber, so the bricklayer is now the plumber, the electrician is now the bricklayer, the roofer is now the electrician and I'm bringing in a new guy to be the roofer.

Your right, they should be setting the highest standards, especially as they, quite rightly, complained when the previous clowns were in office, doing similar things. It may if been a case of resign or be fired |
