Looks like the Marxist Revolution might be on hold at the Corbyn Sultana outfit.
Corbyn is accusing Sultana of sending out unauthorised emails. She says she has been locked out of official accounts. Corbyn is taking legal advice.
Sultana says she is the victim of a “Sexist Boys’ Club”.
Hopefully this will all be resolved before they take on the running of the country. |

Adnan Hussain, who has been appointed company secretary of the party is apparently a transphobe according to their own definition. And Sultana made a post that there is no place for transphobia in the party.
Can they reconcile their views on LGBT with the views of the independent MPs elected on basis of Palestine issue, whom they want to include in their party? |

They're incompatible, without shared values. The only thing they share is hatred of certain demographics and views. One is probably LGBTQ, the other has a following who would throw acid in their faces.
You cannot base a party on shared dislikes, you need actual common ground. Conservative Islam and radical progressive leftism are just not compatible. |

The Islam/LGBT conundrum causes problems more broadly on the left. Clearly a conflict of interest there even though Labour touts itself as being a broad church.
LGBT peeps are whining with this fledgling ‘Your Party’ that Corbyn hasn’t come out & said much on trans rights.
Don’t know the ins & outs of the Lib Dem LGBT policy, but they are a Liberal party aren’t they, it’s in the name. I’d suggest the LGBT peeps go & vote Liberal maybe & let ‘The Left’ concentrate on workers rights & redistribution of wealth first & foremost. |

I hope they can sort out their differences & get back on track. We do need a proper Socialist party in the UK it has to be a broad church & accept some difference of opinion. I can understand the younger co leader wanting to speed things up a bit |

I very much doubt it will continue in any meaningful form certainly Sultana won't be part of it now given the accusations being chucked about..

What about whataboutism?
It is oten a perfectly valid comparison.
Just because somebody gave it a catchy name with the intention of belittling it it doesn't have to be devalued as an debating point |

Adnan Hussain quits the party.
He said: “Regrettably, the reality I encountered has been far from this vision. The culture surrounding the party has become dominated by persistent infighting, factional competition and a struggle for power, position and influence rather than a shared commitment to the common good.
“Instead of openness, cooperation and outward focus, the environment has too often felt toxic, exclusionary and deeply disheartening.”
Hussain condemned what he said felt like “veiled prejudice” in the way he and other Muslim independent MPs had been treated within the party, talking about “generalised accusations and offensive slurs”.
Did he just accuse the party leads for Islamophobia? |

"A trainwreck of a conference.
I hope the party isn't dissolved soon. The amount of entertaining content they are generating would put a lot of youtube content creators in shame."
It would give the Carry On team a run for their money.
Corbyn played by Kenneth Williams in full "infamy infamy, they've all got it in for me" mode.
F*kin hilarious. |
