Another major scandal landing at the door of Sir Keir.
The Labour Together campaign which got SKS elected leaders paid a 'consultancy' £36k to promote smear stories about critical journalists, including disgraceful ones linking Times journo Gabriel Pogrund to his Jewish heritage. The Guardian journalist Pippa Crear, a close friend of Angela Rayner, was allegedly involved in promoting this fake news.
Govt Minister and Starmer ally Josh Simons seems set to be the latest Labour figure to resign in disgrace. |

Excellent Guardian report here, for those who will try to dismiss this as right wing news:

"McSweeney fall guy, is my expectation if this trundles on"
How long can Starmer blame everything on his underlings? The evidence points pretty strongly to him having not just poor judgment but being actively involved in some very dodgy stuff. |

"I do find these obsessions with Starmer rather fascinating "
He is the Prime Minister.....and he has yet to show a shred of accountability. Everything from Savile/Al Fayed when he was DPP through to this latest scandal, the Mandelson saga etc are all someone else's fault. Under the Tories threads were rife (rightfully so) shredding their PMs. If Starmer wasn't dog shit in human form and possibly the worst PM of the last 100 years he wouldn't garner so much attention... |

If you fancy a giggle search Boris Johnson or Liz Truss (who was PM for five minutes) and see the number of threads that come up. Some of the posters are quite familiar although they've apparently undergone a Damsacean conversion on the subject of standards in public office.🤭 |

In his head.. "
In the news too, BBC no less
'Labour MP Josh Simons has resigned as a Cabinet Office minister, just days after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer asked his ethics adviser to investigate him.
Simons faced claims the think tank he used to run before he became an MP commissioned a report that looked into the background of journalists.'
