"Benny and his tango mate bombed a gas field jointly owned by Iran and Qatar
How is this a military "threat" to the US ?
"
Its Netanyahu trying to either scupper any talks that are ongoing or he knows Iran will retaliate as they've warned they will..
Trump didnt want the Iranian oil infrastructure targeted last week but Israel did..
Tail wags dog again.. |

It's been driven by Israel all along. They would like Iran not to exist. Trump hasn't demonstrated a realistic, achievable goal with this mess, so expect to just get continuation of tactical messes. It's very sad for the world, when negotiations were feasibly going to have achieved a safer country, without potential for recession for billions |

*They would like leadership in Iran who doesn't like Israel not to exist.
They're perfectly happy with a non-threatening Iran. |

DJT:
Israel, out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East, has violently lashed out at South Pars Gas Field in Iran. A relatively small section has been hit.
The United States knew nothing about this attack, and Qatar was in no way involved or aware.
Unfortunately, Iran did not know this and unjustifiably attacked a portion of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility.
NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to South Pars unless Iran unwisely decides to attack Qatar — in which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen before.
I do not want to authorize this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications, but if Qatar’s LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so. |

He needs to reign Netanyahu in, Israel seems intent upon destroying irans economy which is oil but that is literally a global depression in the making..
Time to talk to end this latest phase in what will be a regional event every few years? |

So in essence Trump is so upset by the attack on the gas facility that has caused gas prices to spike that in retaliation he's threatening to blow up another gas field which will cause gas prices to spike further. Makes complete sense. |

Hamas started this ?
1200 murdered Israelis
Gaza destroyed with 100,000 tonnes USA bombs
75k dead Gazans
250-300k injured Gazans
2 million displaced Gazans
1 million displaced Lebanese
3 million displaced Iranians
5000+ Iranian targets bombed
Iranian civilian infrastructure destroyed
Iranian school kids blown up
Unintentional consequences
Dubai tourism
Oil prices
Western inflation and interest rates
Oil cargo impacted and ships uninsurable
This will never end at the negotiating table. Too many people impacted and all sides wanting revenge, with Israel at the front.
Cue more suicide bombers and small boat refugees. Credit to Starmer keeping out of it.

No, Hamas didn’t start it. The balls up UN partition plan, which every neighbouring Arab nation voted against started it & Arab grievances have been there ever since.

Then you'd need to go back to the Balfour declaration and even further back. |

Of course.
The point I’m making is people lazily blame ‘Hamas’ in the here & now without looking at the root causes of it. |

Baldricks school of cunning planning..
An ego the size of Trump tower combined with the inability to look beyond his next rant or his deficiency in strategic thinking.. |

They might not have started the whole saga, but they did stupidly provoke a wel-armed entity with kid-nap, r@pe and murder, based on a toxic ideology. |

To be clear, I’m not being an apologist for Hamas & their particular methods, but hatred of Israel didn’t just materialise for no reason: decades of occupation, settlements, bombardment and blockade have fuelled it & the UN terms with which the international community first proposed dealing with this situation were flawed to begin with. |

What clown decided to put 700,000 odd Holocaust survivors in a place surrounded by Arabs that will forever want them dead. Now a population of eight million and they will be fighting until the end of time. |

Totally agree & the irony is Europe berating the Arabs for being ‘so intolerant’! |

Very fair point.
What should have happened? |

A couple of suggestions from this humble Fab member which you may agree or disagree with and that’s cool:
1. The Zionists shouldn’t have been so hung up on re-planting their flag in Palestine after so long away (or so long away in their vast majority at least) There was plenty of British pink on the globe back then for instance & the Zionists themselves also considered other places…
2. At the very least, when Palestine was settled upon, the UN should have taken into account the views of the neighbouring nations more than they did and definitely should not have come up with a plan that a) had pretty ridiculous borders and b) handed the majority of the land to a state whose population was still a minority at the time. Acting like that was some neat, fair arrangement was completely ridiculous imo.

You seem to have missed a bit before this….. name the Israeli assassination of various Iranian politicians and nuclear scientists…. And the attack of the Iranian embassy in Lebanon…. But everything apparently only started as of October 7th..

Netanyahoo, once his grip on power has been relinquished. Be on an equal footing with the felon Trump in similar circumstances with Epsteins redacted files:
Both hopefully going to jail. Neither collecting $200 as they pass go.
Trump has to be the worst POTUS ever. Yet the MAGAS still sing his praises. Just couldn't make it up. |

23% on wholesale gas
20% on oil, petrol, diesel
17% LNG reserves impacted for five years
No bank rate cut
Lending pricing increasing
Eight billion people affected by market disruption
USA is not winning this. |
