Local elections in England and devolved Govt elections in Wales and Scotland in May.
Will you be voting ?
Will Labour get hammered or will Starmer's pacifism over Iran save the day ?
Will the Greens and Reform do well ?
Plaid and SNP to win their elections?

I vote at the Scottish Parliamentary elections am not the General one.
As things stand at the moment it looks like the SNP will easily win this one.
Conservatives are dead up here and Anas Sarwar recently calling for Starmer to resign hasn’t helped his cause. There is more hatred for Reform than the other two combined, unfortunately for Cons is the Reform party is stealing whatever party they had left up here.
So yes, I know a lot of Scots voted Starmer at last GE as a tactical vote to help oust the Tories however, he has proved just as bad if not worse that his own party up here want rid of him
Watch the SNP vote boost in May. |

Always vote, only way to have a say. But don't vote to punish or be a bigot. Look for local candidate that has ideas or ideals I like. Apart from avoiding the obvious parties, I vote candidate first, not party |

"Council tax up, business rates up, unemployment up, mortgage interest rates up, food up, fuel up, homelessness up, tenancy evictions up, bankruptcies up.
Expecting a labour crucifixion "
Predicted to finish third in Wales which is unprecedented. Could even finish third in Scotland but looks less likely. |

"Voted Labour all my life but voting Reform in local and national elections.
Around 80% of people I speak to who were once Labour voters say they will never vote Labour again.
"
Not surprised Starmer tried to cancel these elections ! |

Labour finishing 3rd in Scotland is becoming highly unlikely
Sarwar shot himself in the foot when he called for Starmer to resign and then backed down.
After May he is rumoured to be quitting politics himself.
Likeliest outcome in Scotland appears to be
1. SNP
2. Lib Dem
3 Greens
No Tories left up here, all have deflected to Reform which isn’t like enough to compete.
Labour, thanks to Starmer has fallen out of favour as well
More and more support for the SNP is starting to grow again |

Labour will get hammered - for many reasons that aren't their fault and for quite a few reasons which are absolutely their fault. I expect the Greens to do much better than expected and Reform to do much worse than expected. Of course FPTP will ensure that we get represented by a party that the majority don't want, whoever that may be |

Is the revival of the SNP enough to get back to a majority like they used to have or back to a coalition? If coalition, would it be with the Greens? |

Fingers crossed that the voters have had enough time to see how badly Reform have managed the local authorities they've been in charge of.
And how their Trump and Putin simping leader is a work shy grifter.
But I guess the first was pretty obviously what was going to happen and the second point has been the case for quite some time, and it didn't stop them being elected.
Maybe badly thought out non-solutions to small boat crossings are more important to some than a functioning government and being the lapdog of hostile foreign nations.
Because that's real patriotism.
Or something. |

Have Reform Councils performed badly ? One in Doncaster recently received a glowing report from the independent auditor."
Is that the auditor that's got a Reform member running it, or is it a different one?
Also a quick Google shows Doncaster council appears to be a shit show of Reform in-fighting, lies and accusations.
Weird how shouting a out small boats doesn't help you run a land locked local council eh?
But not to worry, they won't be increasing your council tax because they'll get rid of all those pesky woke LGBTQ schemes.
What's that? The LGBTQ schemes never really existed and if they did, they didn't really cost anything?
Oh, well I guess your council tax is going up then. But don't worry, we've also spent £75k on flags.
So all the dementia riddled Reform voters can be continually reminded what country they live in 🤣

'Scottish Labour has dropped its election candidate Mohammed Ameen for a key Holyrood constituency after he was charged with fraud.'

'The leader of the SNP group on North Lanarkshire Council Tracy Carragher has been suspended from the party and dropped as an election candidate.'

unfortunately the new voting system in Wales you vote for party only & they put a list of candidates up . the constancies are bigger with 6 MS each so many candidates may not be local

"The leader of the LGBT+ wing of the Scottish Greens has quit amid a row over the party’s candidates in the North East.
Guy Ingerson was due to top the regional list for the party in the North East Scotland in May, but was dropped on Monday due to an unresolved complaint against him.
Maggie Chapman is now set to take Ingerson’s place at the top of the list. This is despite there also being an outstanding complaint against her."

Good luck with the fight against The Fash in Wales.
We know how this will go. First Reform will look for “efficiencies in the HR Department”. Next they will be “refusing to waste ratepayers’ money on celebrating Trans Day of Visibility”. Then before long there will be death camps outside Aberystwyth. |

Reform UK are on course to make a significant breakthrough in Scotland, winning 20 MSPs in our central projection.' |

Let’s hope so. Here in Birmingham still no recycling collections for over a year, and Labour Councillors spend their time bleating about flags on lampposts causing division. I imagine they spend more time fretting about Gaza and Trump than Sheldon.
Frankly if people in Birmingham keep these total clowns in “power” they deserve everything they get. |

Reform, The Greens, SNP and Plaid will all do well but there will be some quite big local variations. In some areas Islamic party's will make gains, Birmingham will be interesting.
The Tories will get a thumping and Labour are going to get the kicking of all kickings.
The Lib Dems will make a few gains in the south/south west but in the country at large will just tread water. Win a few, lose a few. |

Actually... Nationalist parties tend to be on the right. The SNP is quite left. What would a right wing nationalist want to vote in Scotland? Is there a Scottish Reform... Scotland for the Scots?
Genuine question, perhaps there are other options? |

Not in Britain, only the English nationalists are right in Britain.
Plaid, SNP and Sinn Féin are all left leaning parties |
