Boris has sold a pup to the voting public. The bluff and bluster hooked many a voter.

Boris believes in fuck all apart from his own career and in the meantime he has screwed the country over.

Because he is realising what a big mistake he have done, he did want to be in the eu earlier this year.

on the road to nowhere in particular

Why do so many people think that the British public are so gullible. Boris only made one decent speech, for most of the campaign he was a liability. I certainly didn't base my judgment on the power of personality of any politicians. Am I the only one?

Wasn't that shrewd, he lost the vote and had to resign

Central

Johnson was firmly in favour of the EU, as his record shows, including up to the referendum.

He's not making a bid for leadership now as the option is a poison chalice that Cameron cleverly handed out.

He is only a self-serving egotistical creature but will wait it out.

Na, Cameron knows the country's screwed for the next few years, Boris knows the country's screwed for the next few years. Cameron threw down the gauntlet for Boris to pick up and be remembered for being the worst PM in history - checkmate!

Boris bottled it but part of his decision was that in doing so he doesn't have to pick up the baby Cameron dropped in his lap last Fri..

I think in doing so he has cast himself as the betrayed friend with Gove being the vile betrayer, and Gove's actions have scuppered his own bid for PM within the tory party..

I reckon if it had been between the 2 of them then Boris may have won, he still has a chance in the future to make a run at the job..

Gove is tainted and could be finished because of what he did after the vote..
