The proposed tv debate ?

Hmm why , really why ?

What's it's true purpose what are they really up to ?

For the supposed job in hand ie a parliamentary vote it is not required

There is motive to this ?

Central

I've not seen the justification for it and think it's inappropriate, as brexit was and is a conservative issue.

I'm assuming it's to divide any blame with labor.

TV debate between neither a real leaver or a real remainer .... I really don't see the point.

Throughout brexit MPs have devolved responsibility through quoting “the will of the people”. My guess is if she can be seen to get public support after this, MPs will swing towards voting for her deal. Regardless of their actual opinions.

CANTERBURY

I have an amazing ability to be able to record anything transmitted and I can also utilise something called "Catch up TV" (which has nothing to do with chasing those into cross dressing). As a shift worker, I will be on duty and cannot simply down tools to watch two dinosaurs in their respective political death throes, trying to score brownie points.

We live in the 21st century. It's a good thing tjat this is simply a sideshow as nothing actually depends on a television debate as we are now in the hands of Parliament.

I do not understand why Corbyn has agreed to it.

Sky has been pressing for ages for a leaders debate in a general election.

Tories have been refusing.

Suddenly, a U-turn.

But only on Brexit.

Labour's strength is on NHS, social care etc.

May has a Brexit plan, Labour has waffle.

I do not understand why Corbyn said yes.

This is my point

This is being done for a reason

Now ask ourselves why ?

I'd rather watch paint dry.

Don't they have a chance to debate on a weekly basis?

It's called PMQ's

A commentator today said something interesting...

Seeing Corbyn and his plans on TV a day or so before the vote may just focus the minds of the Conservative MPs who are planning to vote against TM

This TV debate is about trying to get TV audiences and in the case of commercial TV advertising revenue. As Brexit is NOT a party issue a debate between the leaders is pointless

I hope Sky sports has a good footy match on as an alternative
