...put the billboard up on Cannock Road, Wolverhampton with blown up quote from Centy's hero, Theresa May saying:

"I believe it is clearly in the national interest to remain a member of the European Union"

...thank you!

It would be interesting to know what aspect of the national interest this quote is referring to and more to the point when it was made as people's opinions change over time.

Anyone wanting to help the less well off in society will be backing no deal.

Removal of tariffs means lower food and clothing prices .

Quite how the decimation of British industry and agriculture is good for anyone, rich or poor, is beyond me.

One minute we’re told Brexit is all about doing trade deals, and the next they are irrelevant because zero-tarrifs on imports means there is nothing for anyone to negotiate.

Complete lunacy.

The billboards are everywhere down here .The quotes from farage and other prominent brexiters are hilarious and the faces of people shaking their heads reading them while walking by are great .

So you think having a referendum again now as more information is known and the voters opinions have changed over time

How exactly is more austerity good for less well off. They're always the worst hit.

Leaving with no deal will introduce more tariffs.

The £ tanking will make every import more expensive. Even with zero duty, the Cabinet was told to expect a ten per cent hike in food prices. That does not factor in any allowance for shortages caused by hoarding and port hold-ups due to the re-introduction of red tape around the British isles.

Yes, they were epic. When they parked the ad-van right outside the pub he was standing outside trying to have a pint was great.

Speaking of which.... has anyone seen Centy recently? Ever since the Gammonball Run passed the Midlands he has vanished.

It was from before the referendum. There is a very nice speech that May did in which she outlines in great detail the perils of us leaving the EU.

Yes... I guess people's opinions could change over time.... funny that. Maybe if they realise they've been lied to. Or if someone dangles the keys to No 10 in front of them.

So I presume you are in support of having a second referendum. Pat? Or are you one of those people incapable of changing their mind when presented with fresh information? What about if it was written in a specialist investment magazine?

At the Old Market roundabout in Bristol, one of the billboards had a quote from Rees-Mogg saying it would make sense to have a second referendum once the terms of exit were known. From 2011, I think

It looks like you did not see the tv programme last night when a number of influential people presented a summary of the likely impact.

At this stage my views may be in a minority ( last time I checked only 37 % wanted to leave with no deal ) and 44% wanted a deal.

If we leave with no deal the EU will be in contact with us very quickly to negotiate one .

No business can afford to lose a customer as large as the UK.

Luckily we live in a free society and you are free to believe that the 37 % who want no deal are trolls .

Personally I always take a very long term view of most issues and any short term disruption is a price worth paying for substantial gains .

If they can’t afford to lose a customer as big as the uk. Then we absolutely can’t afford to lose a customer as big as the E.U. they know that. And so will offer us a very one sided trade deal (in their favour) because they know we will have to agree to it.

If we somehow manage to get the least damaging Brexit, ie the best deal we could get. It will take us approximately 50 years to recover and get back where we are today. Which by then, will be 50 years behind the rest of the world.

A no dea Brexit, no one alive today would see the “benefits”. Aside from the ultra elites who orchestrated the whole thing.

"

You win this week's unicorn prize.

44 per cent of UK exports go to the EU.

8 per cent of EU exports go to the UK.

The UK is proposing to exempt 85 per cent of imports from any tariffs.

Not so the EU, which will apply tariffs to all imports from the UK.

The EU has no reason whatsoever to seek a trade deal with the UK - the UK unilaterally just gave it the most advantageous terms possible.

You may also have missed the pre-conditions to any talks set by the EU today - payment of the divorce bill and adoption of the Northern Ireland backstop.

Indeed, peoples opinions change over time - 3 years is pretty reasonable consider a 2nd Referendum to test that

? To some no deal might be the worst option but to many others it is the best. Once we implemented no deal the EU would be pleading with us within days to make a deal . In that position we would secure the best possible terms. It is difficult to see what correlation there is between no deal and the past.
